Will Curry end up as the first ever player with a career average of 50-40-90? Right now, the guy's at 47.7/44.6/90.1. Can he get his career FG% up to 50%?

No.

He would need to have 11-13 seasons with his current fg%, and after that keep perfectly above 50%

Granted, what he is doing is more Impressive considering 3 point volume

Needs to hit 353 straight FGs to get to .500.

His current pace and playing the rest of the season would have him finishing 824/1601 from the field. That would put him 3933/8205 for his career (.479).

So let's say he exactly replicates this historic season for as long as he needs until he's .500 from the field.

2017: .485
2018: .489
2019: .492
2020: .494
2021: .496
2022: .498
2023: .499
2024: .500

So that means he needs to keep up this pace of efficiency and volume until he's 36 years old. Obviously you can reduce the 3pt attempts and exchange for 2pters, but note the guy is taking 20 shots game this year.

he takes more 3's than 2's. So unless he makes over 50% of his 3's I don't see it.

No, there is just no way to raise it that much this late.
