View Full Version : Katt Williams at it again.

Just this morning, I seen Katt throwing bombs at Kevin Hart. Just taking shots left and right. Saying he's a puppet and so forth. Not sure where it came from and why, but whatever. So I check back on this story just now and in typical Katt Williams fashion, this fool has gotten himself arrested for getting into a fight at a pool hall.

I mean, is he trying to be relevant again or what? Is he mad that Kevin Hart is where he thinks he should be at.

Didn't he adopt some absurd number of children?

Bruh, Katt Williams ran with one routine and after people got tired of that Katt was gone.
Have you seen his last two specials, the one on Showtime in 2012 and then the one on HBO in 2014. Terrible.

Katt is trying to spark interest in his career again, hence the reason of going after Kevin Hart (the top comic in the game.)

Dude, highest paid does not equal "top comic" unless you're some cokehead producer. The dude is a complete sell-out doing one shitty movie/commercial after another. I'm not saying Katt's a genius but you'd never see him in so many watered down moneygrabs.

Doing commercials and movies make you a sell out? Guess Richard Pryor was a sell out then, right? He did shitty movies and commercials ...

Nobody offers Katt roles in anything, is the reason he's not in multiple movies and commercials.
:biggums:

There was a time in the early 2000's when Katt was taking roles here and there. In Damon Wayans' My Wife & Kids he had a recurring role. On the Tracy Morgan Show, he was in the cast and Nick Cannon's Wild N Out. Were those not moneygrabs or was he just working (just like Kevin Hart.)

Are you kidding me? Which entertainer doesn't want roles hosting events and shooting movies/commercials. Why wouldn't they want to promote their brand. In fact that is the only reason why we are even hearing about this. Just one mediocre comedian jealous because another mediocre comedian is doing what he isn't.

Kevin hart is ok at what he does. Clown shit but admittedly funny clown shit. Compared to these two chappelle is the truth.

Nice use of IMDB filmography. :lol Pryor did shitty movies but he also did funny stand-up. :lebronamazed:

He also co-wrote Blazing Saddles and was in Blue Collar which is one of the greatest movies ever made. Name one thing Hart has done in Hollywood that is watchable.

By the way, you have one of the top 5 worst entourages in internet history.

You said Hart is a sell-out because he does shitty commercials and movies. I said Richard Pryor also did shitty movies and commercials. Is he too not a sell out? Your answer was because he wrote a western comedy, and appeared in Blue Collar, that trumps his shitty films and commercials and doesn't make him a sell-out like Kevin Hart?

I don't have an entourage, the hell. :biggums:

I like DeRay too. Corey Holcomb is dope. But they don't have the out-put of Hart

So Sinbad isn't funny? :biggums:

Katt has a few funny bits, but nothing to carry over. Which is why he's a trivia question. Obviously, if he had material other than what a pimps daily routine is, he'd still be relevant today.

Comedians who fizzled out for $300.
"Who was the small black guy with the perm who was funny for 8 months between late 2006 to mid 2007?"
Is it Phil Lamarr? No, Katt Williams.

Actually, Katt fits in with that group more than Kevin. Katt's audience is just like Larry the Cable Guys audience, his people. Katt plays him pimp character out on stage just like Larry the Cable Guys plays his country redneck character.

Katt, just like Dane Cook was hot for a small while.

You said Orlando Jones like that was a huge step up.

Don't disrespect Sinbad like that. Homie is the greatest clean comic ever (taking over the spot from Bill Cosby unless someone digs up dirt on Sinbad.) Dude was successful in the Eddie Murphy RAW, Wayans In Living Color, Def Comedy Jam era of dirty comics.

You're right that Lamarr is better than Jones, I just wanted to make an Orlando Jones reference. :D Neither of them hold a candle to Wayne Brady though in terms of GOAT improv skills.

I loved Sinbad movies when I was a kid but I've never actually seen his standup. Last I ever heard from him was after the Michael Richards incident at Laugh Factory in '06. He really should've thanked Richards for making him relevant for a day. :lebronamazed:

You need to watch some Sinbad standup, you'll be crying real talk. All his late 80s and 90s stand-ups should be on youtube. Hell, he did one maybe 2 years ago for Comedy Central, homie still got it.

Mooney is amazing. The only reason he's not super high (he's in my top ten, just the lower ten) is he's not physical. I know he's old, but even when he was young in the 70s he wasn't very physical.

Eddie Griffin will be out generation's Mooney in about 20 years, watch.

Hart is a funny stand-up. He ain't Pryor level but he's above Katt Williams. A non-funny stand up is not going to continue to sell out arenas and have his shows go into movie theaters. Especially a black comic at that.

- people accuse Hart (deserved or not) that his jokes aren't completely his and that his writing team helps him a bit too much.
- he's got a beast marketing and PR team that helps him pick the right projects which comes off as corporate
- he's omnipresent so people feel he's being shoved in their face
- he comes off as self conscious (I don't know why)

That being said, I think he is funny (maybe not on par with his fame but still). Kat is just hating for some mix of the above points + jealousy + mental instability. Plus lazy black people love to shit on hard working and successful black people as being uncle toms or sell outs.
