Has nothing to do with the Cavs as a team. He went to the cavs because they had the first pick in the entire draft 3 years in a row and they play in the eastern conference.

IF, that is IF they somehow can Gel over next 2 months they can still win a championship. I honestly think if they get to Finals they can knock off Warriors.

As some of you may have come to learn I am not only a Die Hard Pacers fan but a fan of the Cavaliers as well and I have to agree. We would of rather rebuild a real team instead of making a bunch of signings to try to tailor make our roster towards LeBron ball. Some of these signings were desperate and forced us to overpay. Being realistic as a Cavaliers fan it's hard to admit it but LeBron is on the rapid decline. So now our team is going to be saddled with these poor contracts that are specifically for LeBron as he is declining. This is assuming he stays. He left once so he may leave again. Fool us once, shame on you LeBron, fool us twice and shame on us. The City has wised up to LeBron's empty promises and will not be fooled again. He is realistically going to leave the Land after this season but we will not worry. We can start rebuilding hopefully around Kyrie, Love, and Thompson and try to mimic the Warriors and Spurs type of offense and make some smart draft picks and do it the right way.

Speak for yourself madafaka.

I loved going to 4 finals in 4 years, winning 2 titles (shoulda been 3 but he choked) and watching the Wade to LeBron connection.

Whats there not to love about going on 27 game winning streaks, beating the Spurs in 7, destroying the Thunder in 5, ending the Boston Big 3, forcing Indiana to rebuild after being bounced in the playoffs 3 straight years?

I don't give a **** what Meticode thinks. You think normal Cavalier fans enjoyed going from NBA Finals appeareance in 2007, and 66-16 and 61-21 records to winning 25 games a season? You think they want to go from NBA Finals his first year back to winning 25-35 games a year?

**** what goes on inside the locker room, on the court LeBron WINS games, and that's all that matters.

This is why when he left the Heat I had no hard feelings for him. People sure like to talk a lot about him ( good and bad) they say he's not this he's not that, etc. However shit I had such a great time when we won back to back titles seriously one of the best experiences in my life and it was mostly due to LeBron being an absolute monster those playoff runs. No fan likes losing, if you do then maybe sports aren't for you

No, we won't. If Riley has any pride, he'd hang up the phone if LeBron called, inquiring about a return.

And what would be the point? Given that the presence of LBJ reduces the production of other stars by about 40 percent, what are you getting from Wade then, at this stage, let alone Bosh, if he ever returns? Does CB go back to being purely a safety valve? And where does that leave Dragic? And Joe Johnson, who seems to want to stick around?

No Heat lineup with the addition of LBJ gives them a chance against either the Warriors or Spurs (Durant, on the other hand, would be ideal because he doesn't take other players out of their games, thus not minimizing their productivity). So bringing back LeBron would simply perpetrate the greatest reputational crime against the Heat, one that was narrowly avoided-- the psychological association of the franchise with anyone other than Wade.

I don't know how Heat fans don't feel conflicted about the 2012 and 2013 titles. They were attained by blatant collusion. To the extent that they somewhat burnish Wade's legacy, I'll take them. But, I'd trade them in a heartbeat for the chance to go back to 2010 and spend the money spent on LeBron on a real supporting cast for Wade. Imagine Wade in 2011 with the cumulative talent level of his 2016 cast. The NBA would have gotten curb-stomped.

LeBron has yet to prove he can win a ring without standing on Wade's shoulders. To the Heat, he was a mercenary, nothing more. We used him, true, but not as much as he used us. He's a ringless wonder without Wade and the Heat.

I honestly don't think Lebron will ever win again with this team. They absolutely needed to get rid of Kevin Love. The guy can't play defense. If I were Cleveland I'd bench him and just play Tristan Thompson. Love would be far more usefull in the second unit.

Not really. Pride doesn't get you hundreds of millions in revenue or trips to the Finals. LeBron does. He would sign LeBron in a heartbeat. Almost every GM in the league would.

And what would be the point? Given that the presence of LBJ reduces the production of other stars by about 40 percent, what are you getting from Wade then, at this stage, let alone Bosh, if he ever returns? Irving just had the best season of his career with LeBron. Wade, Bosh, and almost every player who has ever played with with LeBron, have some of their most efficient seasons with him.

No Heat lineup with the addition of LBJ gives them a chance against either the Warriors or Spurs (Durant, on the other hand, would be ideal because he doesn't take other players out of their games, thus not minimizing their productivity). Dragic/Wade
Wade/JJ/Green
LeBron/Winslow/Green/Deng
Bosh/Deng/McBob
Whiteside/Bosh

That team might not win against the Warriors, but they'd do a LOT better than the current Cavs with LeBron.

I don't know how Heat fans don't feel conflicted about the 2012 and 2013 titles. They were attained by blatant collusion.
Who gives a shit. My team won 2 rings and went to 4 straight Finals. Did the team break any rules of FA?

To the extent that they somewhat burnish Wade's legacy, I'll take them.
Yeah, no.

Good thing you don't run the team. Wade was still brilliant in '12 and during the '13 RS, but the Heat are not replicating the success without LeBron on the team. Not even close.

LeBron has yet to prove he can win a ring without standing on Wade's shoulders. To the Heat, he was a mercenary, nothing more. We used him, true, but not as much as he used us. He's a ringless wonder without Wade and the Heat.
Could say the same for a ton of other players. MJ without Pip = ringless. Kobe without Shaq/Gasol = ringless. ETC..

Just be glad that we had him for the 4 years and that he helped us win two rings.

You know 99% of the time we are on the same page and I agree with you, but this is just nonsense man. Wade was injury prone still averaging 20-26 a game while we were dominating the league.

in fact, LeBron James is not just having a decent shooting season from mid-range, he's also continuing the trend of being a much better mid-ranger shooter than Dwyane Wade, who actually is one of the more terrible shooters in the NBA (he needs to get himself a good shooting coach).
That post definitely belongs in the dumbest things ever said thread.
