They got shumpert after LeBron came meaning I don't think shumpert would be in Cleveland without LeBron ever coming to Cleveland

towns???? as in KARL ANTHONY TOWNS??? wtf makes you think they would have drafted him?

epic fail post

Probably would have never got Mozgov since Noel is already a competent rim protecter.

Not sure if we'd be better. Doesn't seem to be any shooters around LeBron besides Kyrie. Certainly a great defensive team. But I struggle to see how the offense would work with a lineup like that.

If Cavs did that, then I predict they make it to the Finals and lose.

You do realize Wiggins and Noel wouldn't even be in the current Cavs rotation right? How is a team with 1 shooter even adequate offensively?

No. Just no.

They would easily be in the rotation. Just not necessarily a good fit.

they'd probably be worse than what they are now, and in any regard, still not as good as GSW.

If you recall, this is exactly the course I wanted them to take. I was 100% behind Noel in that draft and I wanted to keep and develop Wiggins. This will be talked about for decades in Cleveland, but most people were completely behind the Love trade and it's mostly a lot of Monday morning quarterbacking.

The unknown is always appealing, especially if we don't win a title with this group.

I recall the common opinion of the time was Benett was NBA ready and could help out of the gate while Noel would be out for the season. Throwing away a 1st overall pick never works out well. I think most Cavs fans will take 29-35 year old Lebron and his win now window over a roster like the Jazz have now.

I think every organization in the league would take what they've done over the potential of the young core. So, yes.... I agree.

But the Bennett pick seemed out of the blue and I follow the Cavs and the draft as closely as anyone. To be fair, that was a horrendous draft. But I thought there was one player that was worth a #1 pick and Noel was the guy. At the time, the other names thrown around as potential #1 picks were Alex Len, Ben McLemore and Oladipo. Bennett's name honestly never came up until draft day.

I believe ABe was 7-9 on most draft boards. Oladipo or Noel would have been my pick at the time. Maybe Alex Len after that. One tell that a player will be a bust is Small hands. Which Thabeet and Bennett both had.
