It's just funny that they have pretty much dumped Bran for Curry.

who cares, they contradict themselves all of the time and are the biggest prisoners of the moment of any sports media outlet.

the only amusing part about this is that it just shows how they flip flop all the time. They could have pulled this stat out at anytime in the last few years and the numbers would still have been bad but they chose to do this now.

They make up and prop up arbitrary stats all the time and choose when and where these stats are important or non important.

This is a highly specific stat.

A shot to tie or take the lead with under 5 seconds left is usually a desperation three pointer down 3 when the defense knows its coming.

We already know Lebron is not a good three point shooter.

Give us the normal definition for game winner (under 24 sec, shot to tie or take lead) and Lebron is better than league average (and better than Kobe and Wade and others).

"Two other notes that will surely interest you:

Stephen Curry's name isn't on the list because, in his seven NBA seasons, he's had the opportunity to attempt only 19 such shots in the final five seconds of regulation or an OT period ... and has made six.

As for Michael Jeffrey Jordan ...

The only available data on such attempts covers MJ's two seasons in Washington and his last two seasons with the Bulls. He was 6 for 15 on such shots.

Turns out he was actually 6 for 10 in these toughest of conditions until going 0 for 5 in his final season with the Wizards in 2002-03."

I love how they added that at the end.

I actually agree with this 100%, I'm surprised :applause:

True. If Kobe didn't have the rape accusations then ESPN wouldn't have been so quick to dump him for Bran. This is a little different though because Curry just straight up took Bran's spot as the man.

Lol its happening I knew it... I remember sternly for the past 6 years or so Espn doing everything they can to bash Kobe because Lebron was the new "darling down the street".

Now that Brons game is starting to erode a little and ESPNTMZFOXNEWs new darling Stephanie Curry is having a nice run its time to write a million articles about how great Stephanie is and how "bad" Lebron is...

You writers at ESPN are a joke and a half

I knew it too brother, and now the Bron stans will suffer.

If you're a legit new posters, you'll figure it out in a day or two. You'll probably tell him to go kill himself a day after that.
