better than Curry, D'Angelo has elite passing and vision nearly on par with Magic.

So basically imagine Curry mixed with Magic Johnson-that is what prime Russell is going to look like. Great pick. Mitch GOATchak does it again.

Second Season Davidson Steph would not be able to get 3rd string minutes ahead of Huertas, his handles and playmaking were light years away from where Russell is now. Curry is the better shooter, but let's not pretend that Russell himself isn't a great shooter with loads of room to improve.

Great game for him, but Steph Curry mode means multiple 3s from 5+ feet out beyond the line. Did D'Angelo have any of those?

Yeah his last basket which was ice cold in crunch time was a few feet behind the 3pt line. So clutch + deep 3pter + sweg sweg = passes ur test

Kid's always been good, he's just been overshadowed by KAT and KP. Glad he finally had a breakout game.

I said multiple from 5+ feet out. You described 1 that sounds only a few feet back. Sounds more like a Lillard game. Either way, great game for Russell.

Remember when people were acting like lakers drafted a bust, and he was too slow to be good?:lol

Dudes a future all time great and the best player lakers couldve possibly gotten with the #2 pick. :pimp:

The bust was too far, but future all time great may be too far in the other direction.

Lots of players have started out "better than Steph Curry in Davidson". It's not about how good he is now, it's about where his ceiling is that sets good players apart from great ones. And this is assuming he trains as hard as Steph throughout his career, but even still he could end up worse/better, there's really no predicting.

If he works real hard and I mean really focuses and dedicates himself I think in 2-3 years he can reach Anthony Bennett level

In a few seasons, we're going to be saying that Steph Curry just went in to 3'Angelo Russell mode every time Steph goes off.

3'Angelo is changing the game-the vision and passing of Magic combined with the shooting of Curry.

Watch me: I predict that he will never be as good as Curry.
