Jagr is now 2 points away from Gordie Howe all time in points. He will definitely pass him this year.
Jagr before this season was on the cusp of top 5 behind Howe and Messier. With his longevity and return from his hiatus puts him arguably ahead of the 2, now in discussion with Lemiuex and Orr? Gretzky is almost definitively number one.
Is Jagr in that argument to be better than Orr and now his old running mate Lemiuex? Where do you rank him? Is he still in the Howe/Messier tier?

What more could you want from him and his career? Rings in LA and NY?

also IMO jagr even now at 44 has a couple years left if he wants to. He's not only hanging with players half his age but thoroughly outplaying them at times. Just how much longevity he ends up having will be a big part in the consensus rankings when it's all said and done.

I didn't rank him over Gretzky regardless. I only said almost because some argue Lemiuex (peak) or Orr (impact) are better. But definitely 2 and 3. My argument is: is Jagr in there with Orr and Lemiuex? Where does Jagr rank?

How are the Lightning doing so far, they look like they can make it back to the finals? Last year's Stanley cup was awesome.

They can't beat Washington. I don't think they could even beat the other Florida team. Despite that the Stanley is coming out of the west. Dallas, Chicago, or LA are going to win.

GOAT RW for sure

Howe played in a weak era, while Jagr dominated the high talent, dead puck era. Had he played in the no D '80s there would no question about that as he would have over 2k points easily. Let's not forget that he was hit by 3 lockouts too.

All time? No chance.

Gretzky/Lemieux/Orr are a nigh untouchable big three imo.

Lemieux is the guy who pushed Jagr to become has good as he was. That alone makes him no where near Lemieux. He underachieved a lot post 2001 (05/06 was his last great year and that's also the year they made the rule changes to favour scoring).
