Employment background?
Extracurricular activities?

Typically blacks, even ones with degrees, live in black neighborhoods. There aren't a whole lot of jobs near the predominantly black neighborhoods, thus you get a higher unemployment.

Maybe they had bad interviews? Maybe they were late cause they had to drive farther distances. Maybe they had transportation issues?

You can make stats say whatever you want them to.

I mean they're all legitimate factors.

I drive almost an hour each way to work. I don't live in the hood, but commute time is a problem, especially for someone without a reliable means of transportation.

My girlfriend is a recruiter, and while she can't directly ask people if they have a car, she can ask them if they have reliable transportation in the event they need to get to work. If they say they take the bus, they're pretty much ****ed. No employer wants to hire, and train, someone without a car.

I would say that the personal car ownership of whites ages 22-30 is probably higher than it is for blacks, yeah?

So, yeah, you can call it a reach, but there's a reason I brought it up.

Shouldn't we seek justice for everybody? Even if it looks like he was almost certainly in the wrong, you don't really know until you do a proper investigation.
