Offensively I also blame their point guard. He should be providing enough offense where they score more points than the other team.

Well, the Bulls had that thing we called a coach (Thibes was his name) above, he ran only 20 minutes a day of offensive sets and the rest was up to Rose improvise. And the Bulls managed to be the 11 best offensive team and they had the best record in the league. Now they have much better offensive pieces and more offensive players but are emphasizing other players on offense. Now they are 25th best offensive team in the league with 18 teams with a better record.
