I don't watch what I eat and drink too much. I agree after 25 you naturally gain weight. I was 145-150 when i was 20-23.

There are some tricks to lose weight. Not eating 4 hours before bed and cutting out soda, alcohol, and bread are the main ones. Assuming you have an active lifestyle.

Good job and you lost it through exercise which is legit, not by starving yourself. Keep up the exercise and you'll never be over 173 again.

Keep up the exercise and you'll never be over 173 again.I switched my diet to a vegetarian one again, it definitely helped me control my macros better because i'm not eating more fat than I need to and can watch my proteins/carbs easier

I got sick for 2 weeks and lost 10 lbs :lol
I was already underweight, 5'9 148 lbs to 138 when I checked last week. Lost some of the gut I had gathered over the years, but problem is I lost muscle as well. Gotta get it back or I will get manhandled in my league where I'm already almost always the shortest guy on the court :oldlol:

30 takes an even bigger metabolism hit than 25.

Weight is just one metric by which to judge your progress. I'd say what's more important is measurements, e.g., how much you lost off your waist vs how much you lost off your pecs.

Good job OP
It's all about diet guys. Cant just keep increasing exercise and expect to lose weight ESPECIALLY as you get older because when you're doing too much exercise (especially cardio) your joints and stuff just can't take it.
Learn to count calories and losing weight is easy

Definitely an achievable goal
Do you use an app to track calories/macros?

It looks cool, almost like your toe is giving us the middle finger.
Could offend some, but you can't please everyone.

Awesome stuff bud.
What I highly suggest is now to gauge your results in bodyfat %. You need to maintain that muscle. Pounds sometimes can be a huge misconception because you're not necessarily losing fat. Always maintain muscle. It's a catalyst to burning. If you're going to do more cardio I suggest a shot of iso protein so your body isn't wasting muscle tissue and you'll be burning fat

My mother is Filipino, born and raised on the islands. She came over here when she was young, ended up meeting my dad, then I happened. I look more like my dad, but my older brother looks more like our mother. He has her attitude too.
Imagine, a racist son of immigrants. Ironically enough, my dad has now re-married to.... a woman born and raised in Bogota.
As an aside, my father's previous wife, and his current wife, are both legal immigrants.

My bf% needs improvement, i'm gonna be running sprints more and keep my swimming up.
