If they don't win a championship that team is getting blown up (which would be a knee jerk reaction)
I won't be surprised if he leaves, but the most likely scenario imo the cavs trade Kyrie and Love to get the new all stars Lebron wants to play with

Zero percent chance he ever leaves Cleveland again.

Even if Cavs don't win, I don't see him leaving. I mean, he passed through the storm it was The Decision. I doubt he wants that again.

He has to stay. He is Cleveland's son.

I think Bron might leave Cleveland again at some point. Perhaps a Hakeem to Toronto thing right at the end. Bron to NY in 2020. Can't imagine he would leave now.

Reasons he stays > It would be a PR nightmare and reputation suicide if he turns his back on Cleveland again
>He has a better chance to win in Cleveland than Miami which is the team most presume he would return to
>He has Gilbert by the scrotum and can presumably call certain shots

Common sense tells me yes but LeBron has shown a remarkable lack of self-awareness and poor decision making in the past.

i dont get why people think lebron owe cleveland anything.Them mfs in cleveland wont do sht to him when he leaves just like they didnt do nothing the 1st time.He aint scared to leave cleveland if these ****** dont win he's out of there idk why mfs think he will be loyal this time he is the same person he was back in 2011 nothing has changed.
The people who think he will stay are the same people who lend someone money never get it back then 2 years later loan the same person money and expect them to repay this time. You are a stupid naive bch who will be taken advantaged of by other people for the rest of you life....

Who cares? lebron is irrelevant now and he was never a 'shift the balance of power' guy, he always needed superstars to get over the hump in the East.

He's definitely staying. The question is, what about everyone else? If they lose before the finals I can see them blowing the whole team up, maybe even if they get to the finals.
no he won't. despite how people make him out to be, hes a loyal guy similar to dirk and duncan.
What?:oldlol: it's fact that he's not like those guys. It doesn't matter how people make him out to be. That's irrelevant. His past actions already show he's not similar in that sense.

Lebron cares about his "brand" too much, even if he never wins another ring. Moving back to Miami would make him the most hated athlete, maybe ever.
As for other cities, he would get less hate, but it would also be destructive to his brand.
Anyway, Miami is an old team, and is worse than what they were in 2013-14 (even with Whiteside). He'd look like a fool, AND won't win rings anyhow. Moving would be a lose-lose situation.

You care, and so does everyone.
Despite him not being a big deal, you and everyone continue to make threads about him.

Love will play for another team before LBJ leaves Cleveland again imo. He's sticking as a Cav for probably the rest of his career.

I honestly feel like he gonna retire there. Don't think he's gonna switch teams again. They probably just move guys around and bring guys to help him but win or lose he staying in Cleveland.

He'll stay, but the cavs aren't winning shit. He's declining and his game isn't going to age well.
IMO they panic and make a few trades this offseason, either Kyrie or love are gone, maybe even both..
Weird looking "legacy" if you can call it that, his only rings will have come from leaving his team to join super team in his prime, then back to being a loser..
1 in Cleveland would have looked better..

Dragic
Wade
Johnson
Lebron
Whiteside
Or Bosh returns and Whiteside stays in his current role and averages a double double with 4 blocks off the bench.

Lebron is staying in Cleveland for the rest of his NBA career. He has a good team there, he's happy, and it would be suicide for his brand if he left.
Yes, there is no clear better option for him to run to that wants him.
Yes. Love and Kyrie gone though.

:lol for who?
i think lebron is smart enough to know by now that if he bolted again at this stage, he will become sports' biggest pinata. every legend, true fan, message board, tv analyst, and journalist (except for the new city) will tear him up to shreds. he already went through that with "the decision." i think he'll do everything to avoid that shit again even if it means not winning.

One more star must come or LeBron leaves. No way he stays on a team without having 2 other stars locked down.

Every other player on that team will leave or get sent out before he does.
Imagine if it gets to the point in the next few years, assuming Lebron declines like most guys 12-15 years into their careers do, where some team tosses an insane trade offer at them for Lebron?

Said it from day 1. He was going to leave the Cavs for this exact same reason. People here said it would be too much of dick move for him but his entire career has shown us that this is who he is
Bron is a cleveland lifer now. Miami was the perfect opportunity career-wise. Otherwise I think he might've actually stayed.

I agree with this. I also wonder, if he did sign with the Cavs, would he lock himself into a longer deal, or will he continue to keep his options open with an opt-out clause? That'd be a dick move too. I'd say commit or get the hell out.

He's not going to leave. The horror that haunted him in Dallas of being the bad guy will never leave him. The Blatt situation kind of mandates he stay. The GM loaded his deck with that one. Its not a bad team, and its a deep team. The four best players are redundant and overlap a lot: Lebron and Kyrie are slashers, Lebron,TT, and Love are all undersized PFs. Mozgov has disappeared so they lack length. There seems to be a problem with Kyrie and Love being primarily shooters. They seem a bit more streaky and the team goes cold together sometimes. They are not tall long fast strong or quick. Whatever their strength is, it doesn't seem enough to phase western conference teams.
