I get the whole "he's alpha" shit, but honestly he doesnt hold a fkin candle to KD's talents
Westbrook's job is to pass to KD in the clutch, defer to him amd be a good robin to batman(KD)

Overconfidence is just the same as no confidence at all. Thats why okc is better without westbrook because the guy is a cancer. And this is the biggest issue for okc, they dont have hierarchy.

Durant had 9 turnovers to Westbrook's 2.
Russ at least made one, while Durant missed his. Durant essentially gave them 10 extra possessions, while Westbrook gave them 9.

Isn't this why they fired the coach? Maybe they should just fire this coach too?

when the best player is a beta and the 2nd best player is an alpha, you got the recipe for disaster.

He thinks he's the best player in the world. I don't have a problem with that kinda confidence. Most nights it doesn't hurt the team, tonight it did.

lmao, so true. He has this tendency to put up wild shots in critical moments that only require patience and smart play yet hes constantly in panic/attack mode.

This honestly reminds me of the 10-11 heat, in that Wade didn't defer to Bron in that year
WB really does have to learn how to defer to KD, especially in crunch time

are you saying it was Wade's fault for the finals loss?

I don't know.
What I can definitely say for certain is that Westbrook looked like the best player on OKC in the 2012 finals. However, I don't think that Westbrook is better than Durant. But Westbrooks toughness will EVENTUALLY land him a ring. I can't same the same about KD. I'll never forget how bitch made Bron made him look a summer after they "worked out" together.

What do you mean defer...
KD had 17 fga 11 fta 9 assists and 9 TOs
Russ had 24 fga 7 fta 2 TOs
who got the ball more... KD would have had more attempts/assists if he took better care of the ball
OKC is easy to stop because they only have 2 players to worry about on defense and both mostly take perimeter jump shots...
Russ and KD both have about the same usage rate and for what it's worth WB leads the team in PER and BPM, averages about 2.5 assists per turn over whil KD's ratio is a little over 1, though KD leads the team in shot attempts
Russ is passing the ball, 24/8/10/2 a game..I don't see what he needs to do differently. OKC's issue is that Ibaka has declined and their only other effective big is a turnstile on defense. It's not the offensive end that's the problem here, they have the 2nd best offense behind GSW, defensively however they are 15th and going into the GS game were averaging over 110 points per game allowed since the ASB, this was the 3rd in the last 9 games they allowed 120+..
