I'd give the Gentry another year

I think thibs is going to New York

He's a triangle guy

And he loves NY

That's if they can't get Luke Walton. Luke will be highly coveted this summer. Lakers are probably more likely to land him though.

Walton will have the same fall from grace that Gentry did

Thibs should be the hotter commodity

Yup. Walton only proved he could sub for Kerr. Not sure how he would work out as a first time HC with a whole new team.

Doesn't mean Walton won't be the hottest commodity.

I said he should be,

But we all know how things go

I think Gentry is a solid coach. Needs more time to prove himself. Injuries hit them hard.

I don't like the way he is using AD. He should build the offense around him, not have him ISO most of the time.

It's hard to gauge the situation because they were out of the hunt very early with the injuries

I'm sure Gentry will have a lot more to show with a full squad and off season... He was known for orchestrating top offenses of late... Although the clippers didn't change after he left, neither did the Warriors.

Why do you have so many negs? You're a serious poster IMO.

You got Unibrow, but overall that team isn't even very good.

Collection of outcasts shit franchises like the Sixers and Kings didn't even want to keep. Had a chance at a new era twin towers of sorts and instead chose to trade it away for a slightly above average PG in a league filled with above average PGs. Oh yeah, and the tenth overall pick (which ended up being Payton). They then traded another first (18th pick - Dekker) for Asik. Which on paper isn't a terrible risk. Except going after a center after passing up on Noel a year earlier is kind of whatever. Proceeding to give Asik a lengthy contract... Also, you're also reliant on the always injured Eric Gordon to be healthy.

Lest we forget if the Spurs aren't assholes, this team doesn't even make the playoffs last season. We're essentially looking at a clear-cut lottery team.
