It's hard to say because Kids born in the mid 80's are as considered millenials as kids born 1992. Talk to a 1986 person and you get a different outlook from a 1992 person

Difficult to say. Not all people born in those times act the same. You have a dude like Leonard who is younger than Bran, but is more akin to someone like Duncan.

there's virtually nothing in common with somebody born in 1980 and someone born in 1999, especially if one isn't from america or western europe

True. I think these people who look at things as black and white like this are probably the same people who believe in astrological signs.
