I love this

Spurs can use him big time. He can hit the threes Danny Green has been missing all year, lol. Except he can't play Green's defense.

Averaged 20 over 9 straight seasons. He's still below guys like Butler and Artest on the active scoring list because he keeps missing games. Will be surpassed by GOATbrook and maybe Iggy by the end of the season. If he averaged even 72 games played a season during that span he would be 22th on the active list over CP3 and Monta.

Are you freaking kidding?

This team is stacked already and they pick up a guy like that? Not to mention they already have enough players who flail and look for cheap fouls, now they add the freaking maestro of it in Kevin Martin.

I honestly think he puts them over the top. Might be a subtle pick up, but this dude could still put up 16-18ppg on a team as a starter.

HELL of a WCF. HELL of a WCF. I picked OKC to knock out SAS in the semis, but this and the Andre Miller signing might change that

I see him being like a Belinelli/patty guy. He can definitely take minutes from Jonathan Simmons and let manu and Parker rest. Hopefully the Spurs defense motivates him to play at least average defense

He is certainly as capable as Belinelli offensively and arguably even more explosive at times. Spurs desperately needed to fill that void. Simmons/Butler/whoever make solid plays and don't screw up too much, but they just don't score like that.

I'm really excited about the offensive potential of the bench now.

Spurs management is the best. Instead of trying to getall the massive names they pick out all the best role players around the joint. And use the genius that is pop to get the team ball flowing:bowdown:

1. It's not like the Kings have been in the playoffs a lot of times in the past decade.
2. Nobody remembers that.
3. Nobody cares about that because the Kings went nowhere after that with Martin.

I should have a job as GM of an NBA team.

I can link posts from months ago, where I make it clear that the Spurs were lacking severely in bench wing scoring.

And what do the Spurs do? They get two proven wing players.

Simmons and Anderson = scrubs who will be out of the league in 2 seasons.

Spurs again show they're the high IQ team, with high IQ players, with high IQ fans.

Signing LMA was still a mistake.,

Signing LMA was a mistake? What is there to show for it? The Spurs putrid 51-9 record? The Spurs playing the best defense they played in years? What exactly is LMA not doing that you want him to do? He didn't come here to score 28ppg

One of 5 active players with 1000 3 pointers while shooting over 38%

The other four are Curry, Dirk, Miller, and Korver

I think people overestimate the minutes he will play.

Pop prefer players who know the system very well. There's not much time to get Martin into the rotation and learn the style.

David West so far has been a yuge dissapointment and so has LMA. The Spurs system is not something everyone is made out for. You need to be high IQ, have hustle and heart and to be selfless, not sure I see Martin with the latter.

LMA and West have been amazing in the 2nd half of the season. Spurs wouldn't be 54-10 with last years roster or with Marc Gasol. And they'll definitely make it past the 1st round
