His numbers weren't nearly that good before the break, when the voting was done, though. He's been on a tear since the break.

I don't understand how Lillard fans keep questioning why he was left off the All-Star team. Do they not realize Kobe Bryant took a roster spot?

Been saying this all along. Kobe was no all star and Lillard would have had that spot.

So impressed with him and Cj this year. Portland was been amazing over the past 20 games largley because of this incredible back court tandem.

So a more deserving forward would start, and if we assume said forward was chosen by coaches as an all-star reserve, that spot could now be freed up to take Lillard,.
