Arguably a PEAK Kareem (Alcindor at the time.) I have long maintained that a PEAK Kareem was from the second half of his rookie season (and thenb playoffs), thru the entire regular and post-season in '71, and then thru his '72 regular season.

In the '72 first round of the playoffs he was outplayed by a fading Thurmond, and then threw up brick-after-brick against Wilt in the last four games of the '72 WCF's (he became so intimidated by Chamberlain blocking his "unblockable" sky hook on numerous occasions, that he shot .414 from the floor in those four straight games.)

He was never the same force again. Still great obviously, but no longer the invincible Kareem that he had been in his first 2 1/2 seasons.
