:banghead: :banghead:
what do you say........should we ish members meet up at a hotel and peep the shit out of each other
I'd let someone film me naked for $55 in the same manner if that someone paid for both rooms.
What a crock of shit. I didn't even know who she was until this incident.

Videos of us ISHers undressing wouldn't go viral.
I think someone filming a lady undressing is fcked up, and then for it to go viral is even more fcked up, but not '$55m fcked up'...too much money

Wonder how much the guy recording it got paid...
Talk about an instant career booster. It worked for Kim K and damn near everyone else with a 'leaked' tape.

I was a juror on a case that went for longer than a month. It was my only experience as a juror but what I witnessed from other jurors left me shocked. One juror wanted an innocent verdict just because of the way someone was dressed. Another didn't care, wanted to go home and was willing to vote whichever way that would end the case the quickest. It was unbelievable.
It is a fvk ton of money but got no problem with someone who did nothing wrong getting a fvkton of money
Ish full of bitter jealous psychos tho who are gonna have their whole afternoon ruined by this
Jealous? **** yeah Im jealous...
Jealous I wasn't the one who brought the idea to her. Id let her keep the $50m, and I'd take $5m for myself.
If that's all it takes to retire early, sign me up.

The money doesn't fall out of the sky. Half of that money is coming from the hotel. A lot of people who have no involvement of this case will suffer through possible layoffs or other ways the business will try to recover costs.
It's an embarassment of our judicial system because individuals and families who suffer a lot more (physically handicapped for life, serious injuries, etc) usually don't get payouts near this much.

I think all celebrities should be mandated to post online naked pictures, they fuсking owe it to us.

She deserved a payout. That was some egregious shit, regardless if it propelled her to a heightened level of fame. But 55 milli???? Think about how many lives you could improve with that amount of coin.

If this happened to a NBA player everyone would be happy for him winning this case.
It must suck having a below average body and being exposed on the internet by a stalker.
yeah, only thing to do is to go on a dancing show and show off that body again

Was the hotel found to be complicit? I could see hammering them like this if they were part of a scheme but if it was just something that happened without their knowledge then that's way too harsh.

That's...way too harsh. Not one of us would get anywhere near $55 million under similar circumstances. No non-famous person would...and I had no idea who this girl was until this happened. That doesn't mean that what happened to this girl wasn't completely unwarranted and the dude who filmed her hopefully got punished in the harshest way possible, of course.
Was there proof that there were hotel people helping this guy be a feckless pervert? Were they complicit in some way?

:wtf: C'mon man, you are comparing her to a Kardashian. I'm not gonna say she won't be happy with the money she will receive, but I bet you she'd trade it all if she could make the video or pics disappear/never happened. That was why she was crying, she was worried about what her future kid might see. The slutty attention whore of a Kardashian doesn't care about that.

I wouldn't but I'm not a woman and I don't think like a woman. She is already rich and famous (not millionaire but prob makes 250k+ a year, I would consider that rich). You can't assume every woman would pose for playboy.
I do think 55 million is excessive. I think it was that high to punish the hotel, and basically scare the shit out of other hotels because I heard this guy requested to have a room right next to hers.
She deserved a payout. That was some egregious shit, regardless if it propelled her to a heightened level of fame. But 55 milli???? Think about how many lives you could improve with that amount of coin.
Seriously. She absolutely deserved financial compensation, but that is crazy.

Is that the one where she's slapping her own ass, presumably really taken with herself, not knowing some creep is peeping? Doing the internet's work as well as the Lord's.

That's the one.
I'm telling all of you...
If she came out, right now, and said 'just kidding I knew the camera was there the whole time', would anyone be shocked?
Anyone?

Who pays the $55 million? The perpetrator was a camera man, right? Probably makes 75k per year max. :confusedshrug:
edit: nvm the hotel pays for it.. why the hotel? :confusedshrug:

I believe the stalker photographer tricked hotel employees into telling him what room she was in somehow. I know you are supposed to be careful while hiring employees but it's kinda crazy when one employee can get tricked and all of a sudden your company has to pay 55 million dollars? (Maybe the justification was that if the stalker was a rapist or murderer the consequences for accidentally revealing Andrew's location at the hotel could of been an even worse disaster?)
I agree that the situation was messed up for Erin Andrews however. What is she going to say to her kids when they come home from school and tell her that everyone is saying that they have seen naked videos of their mom on the internet? That is pretty f ucked up for her family to go through. 55 million dollars though? That is insanity. 5 million tops, more like 1 or 2. 55 million is just completely outrageous.

20 hours ago I watched this video after reading about the story on CNN, and I have to say: it was the single most inane waste of time I could possibly imagine. To call this a "sex tape" is like calling a video of someone doing Tai Chi a "fight scene." I think it actually held *negative* sexual value for me, because my sheer annoyance at the idea of some disgusting creeper getting a thrill out of doing this made me lose faith in humanity, and with it, any possibility of an erection.

Not sure why anyone is calling her a whore or comparing this to Kim Kardashian. Her privacy was violated and a video was released. Do I think she put on a show when she cried? Maybe, maybe not. It's irrelevant.
What if some dude took a video of your sister or mom and posted it on the Internet for millions to see? I doubt any of you would be cool with that. The amount she receive might be excessive but that's not for me to say.

What's worth 55.000.000$ about that? I simply don't get those numbers in all those cases? Old hag spills coffee over your lap gets x million dollars, etc.
Where do those amounts come from? I'd understand if she had endorsement contracts of that height that got dropped, because of the incidents, but how many people are ridiculed for their life and get nothing?

Except it's against the nashville marriot franchise, not the head corporation. Hotel Owner probably has nowhere near that amount of cash.
Morons misunderstanding the case in here.

As a business owner it pisses me off seeing a jury of envious lazy slobs trying to take away someone's hard earned money for no reason. The Hotel wasn't at fault at all
Erin Andrews is nothing more than a gold digging attention whore

Hotel employees specifically gave him a room next to her without any further credentials; just because he asked.

Shouldn't have hired an idiot attorney who played the video with his buddies in a restaurant after court. I hate stupid lawsuits, but good for her.
