View Full Version : True Fans: Would your team even sign LeBron in Free Agency?

When you factor in LeBron's salary, cancerous attitude and behaviors, and declining play with him having to have a particular type of personnel to succeed...Is it even worth taking him at this point?

For starters it's quite obvious the Warriors would turn down LeBron James if he tried to join in Free Agency for the reasons above. That seems not too surprising considering the Warriors have all their shit together already, including to a player that is superior than LeBron.

But for the teams that are rebuilding they would say no as well. Even if you sign LeBron and some of the Free Agents he demands we all know from previous history it will give you disappointing results and the time old excuse "he needed more help" will come along. As for a rebuilding team by the time you get all of LeBron's pieces that he needs he is going to be in his mid 30's and be gone of all of his athleticism, and we know how LeBron's game with no athleticism will look. Then you are stuck with all these awkward players that were meant for LeBron ball but with an old and even more useless LeBron. Franchise suicide.

Set for his 6th straight finals appearance... franchise suicide according to you.

Interesting.

As long as he doesn't get any players traded in the process I'm sure most teams outside of the Warriors and Spurs would want him.

The Lakers would if they could, but I'd probably die a little inside. The Lakers have been losers the past few years. Adding Lebron to the team just continues that trend.

Get rid of Gordon. Get freaking Lebron James to play with Davis, Holiday and Evans. It would be dope if Bron took us to the finals. (If healthy)

Be the worst on-court production franchise in current history or get a shot at least to getting deep in the playoffs/finals ? Not to mention all the revenue the franchise will get for his presence being on the team/city ?

Tough choice.

Exactly. Just adding him gives us a legit shot at the title which we could never win now. All we need is that one true superstar. And that applies to many other teams including the celtics and bulls in our own conference.

Lottery-pretender teams would. Im not sure if you want to add a ball dominant player like lbj to the mix if you're a contender. It might mess up the chemistry.

yeah sure because if the warriors or the Spurs were offered Lebron they'd be like: 'no thanks'

this forum is so stupid. the thing is that you're actually being serious while saying this BS which makes this even worse.

Also, every damn owner would fire anybody who'd be opposed to the idea of Lebron coming. Besides being a fantastic basketball player, Lebron= $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

CLE thought the same but it's turning into a gigantic backfire for us.

Being in the lottery was a better option.
