Sign Stephen Curry.
Curry/Burks/Hayward/Favors/Gobert and Hood from the bench.

Shelvin Mack shouldn't be a starter.

They have lots talent they can shop around with. Fantasy: their core group for Kyrie, 7 years of window of opportunity (assuming Kyrie stays w/ them) to rebuild around him. It's a stretch, but it's somewhat realistic if Cleveland's willing to. I'd put Westbrook as an option, but he's 27 & with an organization like Utah, there's no way they'll put a contending team within a span of 5 years around him. lmao
I honestly don't know where this organization is headed with this group. What does Utah need to become a title contender? Not one of them are all-star material, so just like everyone else, best bet: FA or draft. Supah-stahs!
And please, go back to blue-themed.

They need a Superstar and not a fringe All-star like Hayward.

They are gonna need an actual point guard, we havent even seen Exum play yet. Bust or no bust?

I'd say a franchise Guard
Kyrie style would be perfect, but he's so injury prone

Would someone like Mike Conley not be a great fit?

Shelvin Mack shouldn't be a starter.
He's played well but they were doing better with Neto as the starter. Shouldn't have messed with their chemistry.
Bust or no bust?
They've missed his defense. Rather he can still defend and expand on his game after his injury we'll see.

Snyder likes him. They need a go to guy. Hood has seemed to have more that mentality than Hayward but he's streaky.

An above average starting PG and better back ups at that end too.

Use a hot tub time machine to go and bring back prime Stockton and Malone.

A superstar guard
Hayward is a great secondary creator/ off-ball player
They can only keep one of Gobert and Favors. Favors is worth something, and I'd keep Gobert.

Gobert is obviously the guy they need to build around and it doesn't look likely that they'll be able to keep everyone. Gobert/Lyles could make sense at some point.

Why does everyone like Gobert so much more than Favors?
10/11/2.5 on 57%/59% at 23yo
vs
17/8.5/1.5 on 52/71 at 24yo
Gobert is a much better shot blocker, slightly better rebounder, then worse everywhere else.
... But that's just going off of box scores, so I'm hoping someone that watches games can shed some additional light on this.

Gobert is a dominant rim protector

Who's everyone? The local media is all about Hayward and Favors and one actually called Hood the 3rd member of their big 3. :wtf:

First off you need to forget stats. The Jazz were tanking and one of the worst teams in the league before Rudy emerged in December of 2014. They have been competitive ever since when he is in the line-up. He's a lot better rebounder. He's a better passer. He's their best screener. He's arguably their best perimeter defender but since they hate Withey they can't put him there. He's the main reason anyone is talking about the Jazz even if they think Hayward and Favors are their best players.

This is the type of answer I was looking for. Thank you.
