Why do you believe that black and white history should be separated? What is wrong with simply having history that isn't segregated based off of race?

segregated history

No matter how liberal elites try to hide from their racist tendencies, they can't get past them, and are constantly patronising black people this kind of shit.

"white history is eleven months of the year" ROFL

No, that's just history, not some patronising rubbish that tries to pretend relatively unimportant things are important, as if there weren't many, many more edifying things for people to be learning. Most Americans are downright ignorant about their own history, so obviously "white history" isn't getting enough focus.

And US Civil Rights history is taught as part of regular courses all over the damn world, and that's something rather boring, and not all that significant in world historical terms--so don't pretend "black history" (idiotic term) doesn't have its place in regular history curriculum, and not just in America--y'all have exported this shit. No English person knows much about their own history (prior to the 20th century, and perhaps the Tudors), but almost everyone knows a fair amount about the US Civil Rights history. People aren't getting educated properly: i'd guess 90% of UK students upon completing schooling don't even know what the Magna Carta is, which is really quite sad, and very worrying.

IWD was started by socialists some hundred years ago. Now it is used by the UN to push dumb things.

I actually agree with you, the 11 months thing was more of a joke. I've always thought having a month dedicated to black history should kind of offend black people more than placate them. Like you said regular history should cover everything and most schools even in foreign countries will at least touch upon the civil rights movement.

UK history is under taught imo, I saw a study where a lot of English people think they are native to England. Not enough it taught about the real founding/uniting of "England" as a whole and where the different people migrated from.

People get taught what people find interesting or exciting.

I'm a white male and I couldn't give less of a fck about this issue.

Claim all the days and months you want women/minorities...they're all YOURS, I don't need them.

I think its intended to make insecure men run to the internet to complain about it (because that's really the only place where anyone cares what the think), but I could just be trolling.

Most of us don't pay attention to stuff like this. I celebrate the amazing people, women and men, in my life just about every day.

"Black history" month should be "American history". It's as if they're a completely different people. Like there are Americans and there are blacks.

No one serious cares about this. Went through the whole day and not a single mention at work, in the gym, or anywhere in real life. Only in the internet you hear of this stuff.

yeh it's bullshit and encourages segregation in kids from a young age by teaching them that "black history" was separate from "regular history".
