Rebounds are a definitive stat. Assists are open to interpretation. :pimp:

Pts/Rebs/assists/stls/blks
If only 4 are listed, steals and blocks are interchangeable.

That's what I assume first because that's the way the boxscores are presented.
Points are a special exception because it's quite easy to detect the points statline assuming the player has some kind of offensive competency.

Westbrook with 25/20/11 last night
You mad

I'm posting this because some fools have been posting Westbrook's stateline as 25/20/11 instead of 25/11/20
There is no reason to swap the rebounds and assists around for any player/position. It's a bad habit, and makes it look as though he got 20 rebounds, not assists.
Keep it consistent lads. Points, rebounds, assists.

Just wait until someone uses R/P/A
or
A/P/R

Exactly
If we allow P/A/R
Then the flood gates are opened
Anything goes

Westbrook had a 20-20 game.
Of course his assists are going to put down first. It's a 20-20 :lol

Well yeah, if your stat-line is a 2 category line
Obviously
But when you go to the 3 category line, you BEST be following protocol
Points, Rebounds, Assists

No it doesn't. The second highest stat between those two comes next. You call a 20 point, 10 assist guy a 20/10 guy, not a 20/3/10 guy.

Thats because anybody would present that statline in just 2 numbers... :facepalm
But yeah, generally, you should go PPG/RPG/APG. Thats the rule, yo.

month/day/year is just something we've gotten used to but is terrible if you think about it. It's like giving the time as minute/hour/day. The assumption is that the year is probably already known so its not priority information but when you're dealing with records that span over a number of years, it's annoying as shit.
