If you do a google image search of him, most of his pics are of him having a sourpuss face.

What a waste. I mean...there's being a hot head but still contributing (Ron Artest, Rasheed) and then there's Cousins.

Watching him act out on the floor last night was really eye-opening. I've seen a lot of self-destructive players over the years as a Cavs fan. From Ricky Davis to Dion Waiters, there have been some real characters here.

But, Cousins has the potential to be an all-timer when it comes to wasting away due to attitude problems. That Kings team is talented. They should be a much better team than 25-38.

Granted, we were without our only true center, but Cousins was causing major headaches working the paint all night long. He was getting guys in foul trouble, showing brilliant footwork and touch around the basket and displaying an array of offensive moves that the Cavs frankly couldn't deal with for 3 1/2 quarters.

Then, he inexplicably decided to start throwing up 26-foot three-pointers down the stretch, completely sabotaging any chance they might have had at winning. Granted, the screws tightened defensively and Tristan was actually working Cousins over on the boards (which I think got into his head), but to see a guy who had shown he could flat-out dominate playing on the block and from the free throw line in on face-ups to just resort to low percentage heaves ... ?

He seems completely uncoachable to me. People talk about his value and how teams with a ton of assets like the Celtics making a push to get him? I understand the idea, because he is ridiculously talented. But, I'm not sure he will ever be in a winning environment because of his personality and attitude. You could see his teammates sink a little further every time he threw up a ludicrous shot.

Great talent, but I wouldn't want him as my franchise player. Maybe as a 2nd guy, but I'd worry he wouldn't except it.

He seems completely uncoachable to me.

this is ringing truer and truer every season. which makes the firing of malone even more heart wrenching for sac fans, seeing as he seems to be the ONLY coach that boogie was content/happy with. AND they had a winning record together (when boogie was healthy)

with that being said. i feel stevens could have that malone effect on him. or at least, hope he would

Why was Kevin Love called empty stats but uncoachable Cousins isn't?

Big Cous is seriously on a perma-meltdown, it seems.

What a time.

He needs to go to a new environment where he doesn't know he can do what he wants. Fresh situation, fresh management, coaches, players who don't bow to him etc.

THIS

as much as a pain hes been in his nba career, he did have to suffer through some of the worst owners in recent history.

since his rookie year hes been through:
the tail end of the maloof era
westphal who wanted him traded as a sophmore. and would randomly bench him
the dumb Smart hiring
ranadive buying the team and forcibly trying to leave his imprint
firing the only coach who meshed with, out of the blue.
karl trying to get the team against him and trade him.

not the ideal situation for any player. but you still hope he would have taken in on himself to mature during these times

This guy has got to go. We'll never win with this type of guy at the helm. Completely unprofessional.

What's the problem with this guy?

Loads of money, playing the best game in the world, living in sunny California, how can you be such a drama queen, trade this guy to OKC or something, might straighten him out.
