MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Bucks have lost guard O.J. Mayo for the rest of the season after he broke his right ankle Thursday morning going down a set of stairs at his home.

General manager John Hammond said Mayo fractured his ankle after he "accidentally tripped descending his stairs."

Mayo averaged 7.8 points, 2.6 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.17 steals in 26.6 minutes during 41 games this season for the Bucks, who are last in the Central Division with a record of 27-38.

no pun intended

Reminds me of when Boozer broke his right hand after tripping over his gym bag in the dark when he ran for the door after he heard the doorbell ring.

On one hand I can totally see that dumbass tripping down a flight of stairs, but then again I wouldn't put it past Kidd to pull this shit to bench him to open up minutes for young guys like Ennis and Vaughn in a lost season.

Apparently MCW's hip injury dates back to December, which could be bullshit from the front office to protect his "value" but who knows. Rumors are that he was pissed about being benched, some Bucks fans speculating that his surgery could've been put off till the offseason but they just decided to shut him down now.

Look out for Greivis Assquez to make a miraculous soon.

Thank god for Giannis and Jabari, probs would've ended it all by now if we didn't have them.

Completely unrelated, but what do you think of Kidd?

I don't follow quite enough to know how his decision-making and leadership has affected the team.

If it ain't to the cold weather , and injurys on and off court , Bucks have issues with stairs as well.

Hope he recovers well enough to play next year.
