I'm doing a survey, how often do you get your spark plugs changed...also need the year, make and model of your car.

Yes, i'm sure ISH is the place to come for car maintenance questions because it's far more reliable than forums dedicated to your cars make and model.

Fouled, damaged, or worn out spark plugs can lead to a variety of engine problems, such as misfires, hard starts, increased emissions, and poor fuel economy. For most vehicles, you should replace your spark plugs every 30,000 miles

30,000 miles is a waste of money. Change them every 100,000 miles and you're fine.

I have a Chevy Cobalt SS Supercharge. '07. I bought it in 2011 and I've only changed them once. Same with the air filter and other maintenance services like fluid replacement and brakes. I might do it again this spring. The only thing I regularly do in the oil change every 3 month.

every 45,000 is good. its something you dont want to wait until its bad to change because your fuel efficiency decreases the more the plug wears out.
