This theory has got to die... It's a waist of f*cking time!!!!

But I'm a believer that these cards don't lie...

So what is it that I'm missing? I've seen a couple of posters
here actually support this belief.

I think the Flat Earth theorists need to focus there attention to the Hollow Earth theory... then you might be able to convince somebody that this theory holds water...

Just a thought....

what is the Tacoma conspiracy?
A Toyota Tacoma can clearly be seen in the background of the 1930 Greta Garbo film "Anna Christie". I dunno why it isn't more widespread it's one of the weirdest things because it's so clear when you enhance to image.

that doesn't surprise me
there were many reports (unconfirmed, but still) that Toyota had created concept trucks in the 30s that looked similar to current modern ones

the Japanese never cease to amaze me
I don't buy those reports though, how do you make something that looks so modern close to 100 years ago and it doesn't catch on or get widely reports. It looked like it has modern tyres/wind shield and shit that wasn't even around until much later. So they say they made all this but never released it or made it public? But one somehow ends up in america in the background of a movie?

A lot of the early silent films going back to the Lumiere brothers show was is clearly an early Tacoma prototype.

After they did L'Arroseur Arrose (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IooPPi1YzkM) AKA The Sprinkler Sprinkled or The Waterer Watered in 1895, they did a similiar one with a kid lets the air of the tires of a truck. The tires look exactly like the Falken WildPeak A/Ts I use for off-roading. It's now considered a lost film. The last negative they found was too damaged to make print.

Most Western critics especially in the US are completely ignorant of how great Scandinavian cinema was in the silent era. You just couldn't get to see those films here, but the use of Tacoma imagery was pretty common. Check out the rim and spokes created by the shadows in DET HEMMELIGHEDSFULDE X from 1914.

I've actually read/learned about that hollow-earth theory multiple times but in more religious forms. I actually know a fair amount of people who believe it too (am not one of them)

Neither theory makes any sense logically within present day.

What's the basis for the Earth being flat?

It's growing in popularity and I don't understand why...

I can understand if a person believed that the Earth is the center of the universe and everything revolved around it...

But being flat? Count me out.

However... A quick read on wiki made me wonder...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flat_Earth

In Brockport, New York, in 1887, M.C. Flanders argued the case of a flat Earth for three nights against two scientific gentlemen defending sphericity. Five townsmen chosen as judges voted unanimously for a flat Earth at the end. The case was reported in the Brockport Democrat.

Still... this is in 1887
