Why exclude the two best Western Conference teams and easily the two best teams in the league? :biggums: :biggums: :biggums: :biggums: :biggums: :biggums:

If Warriors & Spurs were in the East.. Cavs would've been sent packing much earlier. No more "LeBron carrying scrubs to the finals" nonsense.. gtfo.

The 5th seed out West has a better record than the 3rd seed in the East.

You're trolling if you think the East is better. Even if it's because of GSW and SAS, who cares? Why does having the two best teams in basketball in one conference somehow make that conference worse than the other?

The West is top-heavy, not better :facepalm

According to your logic the East was better than the West in 2013 since the 66 win Heat was in the East (Best overall record)

But the teams 2-8 in the East weren't' better than 2-8 in the West, and they aren't this season either (again, the 5th seeded Memphis has a better record than the 3rd seed Celtics while playing better teams, and the 6-8 have the same records give or take).

So like Magic said, the West is both top heavy and better everywhere else.

Stop trolling. Nobody actually thinks LeEast is better than the West. SAS and GS are miles ahead of any Eastern team. OKC and LAC are on par with any Eastern team too.

Nah that's for lame and I for sure am not a lame.

To answer your question though, its simple, east is better top to bottom, particularly 6-12 ESPECIALLY 8-12. This means the top seeds out West have more fodder to fluff up their overall records where in the East its more competitive on a night to night basis.

I will say OKC and LAC are better than BOS and MIA, but not by much, Miami or Boston could beat or push either of those teams to a game 7. If anything it's a push if were talking 1 thru 15 vs 1 thru 15.

Maybe because the 5 seed has played 1 less game?

A Memphis loss would tie them with the current 3 seed Boston.

:oldlol: Ok buddy so a 1 game difference = "HAS A BETTER RECORD"

but a 3 and 2 game difference in the loss column is

and the 6-8 have the same records give or take).

The biggest difference between conferences was 2014.

The east was terrible and the west that year was probably the toughest conference ever.

You could argue the west had the 3 best teams in the league that year.

It was capped off with the biggest beatdown in Finals history.
