Terrible?
Good?
Sick?
It's still unfinished, just started to really get my hands on Sony Vegas. Loving the features. Basketball Forever inspired me to do one on my own -- their mixes are f*cking SICK.

Pretty good
Though it is easy to get slow motion footage and put a color correction on it
But I like the audio synchronization of the different tracks
That to me is a huge part about a great nba mix
I was never any good at audio overlaying
I like it

Thanks, I appreciate it.
The NBA made it easier for a lot of us with the slow motion effect, which I didn't really appreciate, I wanted to do it one on my own from scratch, but I couldn't find a 1080p anywhere. All I need is a 1080p copy & I'll be good w/ the creative process. Though, I did switch up most of the angles / rearranged them & a few fade (i.e. 4-6 second mark). Took me all night for this short ass clip. :lol
Still trying to find out how Basketball Forever does that glaring/sun effect -- it's mesmerizing.

Is that the effect you are talking about
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fyBsq0V3nBU
That's an overlay
Essentially another video track that is lapped over, and can be tweaked in regards to transparency
Essentially he is probably using a stock overlay clip.. You should be able to get a good understanding on overlays and usage on youtube... They are a great option and most top editors use a form of overlay

For example

A film burn is a classic overlay, which you will have no doubt seen used before

I always end up quitting my ideas for videos
my last one was a really good one
James Harden mix to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5sTiZKR4tLE
with this as an overlay + good color correction https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PWRRpA-0kJo
Takes a bit of effort
Might get around to it when the season ends

Dumbest choice ever.
Why on gods green earth would you put a borderline homo erotic song to some gangster ass shit like goat Dunkin.
Seriously. Real feedback. Why choose that song?
I woulda chose some underground Seattle cut cus my niggah is from Bothell , but come on. At least back to back.

Because I don't give a f*. I appreciate great vocals, catchy chorus & a beat to go with it. "Homoerotic" Lol. People like you obviously have major insecurities. Go prove to the world you're a man -- you're a f*cking MAN!

Wow, thank god I don't have to go through that keyframe bullshit. i.e. sunrise to sunset.
Anyway, how or what would you adjust when using overlays? From the top, I can only see why I would adjust the opacity & rotate the film burn overlay (I just hope it wouldn't come off squared) -- any other tricks you have in mind on what to adjust when you apply the overlays, or what not?
This is some good shit information. I've always thought about a mechanic like this in another form before (can't remember what specifically), but this is -- this is a great idea if you don't want to start from scratch when it comes to GFX.
