View Full Version : Wade averaged better stats as a 2nd option to Bron, than now as a 1st option...

Wade from 2012-2014

20.7 ppg 4.8 rebounds 4.7 assists on 52% and 27% from the 3

Wade from 2015-2016

20.2 ppg 3.7 rebounds 4.8 assists on 45.9% and 23% from 3

Worse stats across the board, and the efficiency difference is drastic.

How do Wade stans explain this? :biggums:

So much for "LeBron Ball" destroying Wade :oldlol:

Wade was never meant to be a 1st option, he crumbles under the pressure and can't even make the playoffs as a 1st option. Dude needs to be a sidekick, that's his persona.

LeBron was literally the reason Wade was good, and a major factor if Wade makes the HOF

For a dude who was never meant to be first option, he somehow won Finals MVP in dominating fashion

Right, because age and attrition have nothing to do with this whatsoever.

Wade without LeBron won a championship as a first option in 2006, averaging 28-6-6 on 50% shooting.

How many titles have LeBron won without Wade again? I don't remember.

Didn't Horry win more titles without Duncan, than Duncan did without Horry?

Wade is older now. His peak was 2006-2009. In 2012, he became a hobbled player who missed 25% of games and was constantly showing up on injury reports as questionable.

He's even older now, and will probably be a 13 ppg scorer in 3 years and then will retire.

Funny how Wade won a title without LeBron and played infinitely better than him in the Finals as well. As for your HOF point, they were both HOF locks before they were teammates, and had nearly equal HOF odds before playing a game together

So his peak was years 3-6 in the league? :oldlol:

Scratch that, he was hurt in 2007-2008

So his peak was his 3rd and 6th seasons only? :oldlol:

...yes...?

I would indeed say that Wade's peak years were 2006 and 2009. These two years rank among the best post MJ years we've seen from any player in the entire league.

Is there any other of his seasons that is better?

So you're saying he had to put up 1st option numbers in order for Lebron to win? Seems legit.

19 / 4 / 5 while playing 30 mpg is not bad at all for a 34yo

I expected members of the LeBron family to show more intelligence than this seeing as I'm a member, but I'm left disappointed

LeBron probably has zero titles if he never teamed up with Wade, let that sink in.......

Hes 34 years old averaging like 30 minutes per game and he's the best player on a team heading to the playoffs..... hows that bad for a 34 year old?

Shouldn't he have better stats as a 1st option than as a 2nd option behind LeBron ball??
