Dunking

He actually has two or three post moves that have been pretty reliable. Just doesn't have the confidence for them.

Otherwise, I'm guessing mainly on screens because he doesn't box out either.

Who knows? He doesn't come off as a guy with even close to average intelligence. Probably whatever he feels like on any random day

Probably ringing up other teams managers asking for a trade without really intending to

Probably practicing dunking :lol

Rebounding. He gets lots of practice on this from his bricked free throws.

Dunking, rebounding, blocking setting screens and rolling to the basket.
Jumping and running also.

He looks so much like an amatuer in this video.

DJ isn't a skill player like Stephen Curry, Dirk Nowitzki, or Brook Lopez so he probably spends his practice sessions staying limber and in game shape. I watched the Clippers during a pregame warmup and I remember seeing DJ not practicing any particular skill before the game. He just trotted around, interacting with players just so he could stay loose and ready to play where as J.J. Reddick was out there shooting and working on his ball handling 30 minutes before the entire Clippers team hit the court for official pregame warmups. Free throws are probably the only thing he routinely practices.

This is what the NBA wanted after Michael Jordan, a bunch of ATHLETES that can run fast and jump high without having the slightest idea how to maximize those natural physical advantages because they never learned the basic fundamentals and skills needed to do it. Dwight Howard is another poster boy for this!

And please don't bring up the BS zone defense excuse, post play has been in a steady decline since around the mid 90's, almost 10 years before any pseudo zone rules were put into effect.

The big men today SU!K!!! Not because any rule changes, they just forgot how play LIKE BIG MEN and instead live off their physical gifts and as long as teams give them 90 million dollars for that they will continue to be deficient at the offensive end.

He does have a couple post moves that look very fluid. But the guy never gets the rock in that position, for a number of reasons.

I couple times I've seen him get the ball on the box and make a really good move, and he never touches the rock again on O :oldlol:

I haven't seen him do a counter, because I guess no one expects him to make a move so there isn't much resistance. And when no one is trying to guard you there is no need for a counter move

Some people just have zero hand-eye coordination.

And there is nothing they can do. You cant lift brain or nerve tissue weights yet, and get better. If years and years of working with professional coaches isnt helping much ...... you simply can't polish a turd.

He can run well and jump high, and is 7feet tall, and that got him into the league, because they thought they could make him into a complete player.

But the reality is, that anything requiring fine accuracy with his fingers, or fine hawk-like focus with his eyes, like aiming and firing a handgun or rifle, throwing a football to an exact spot, hammering a nail into a 2x4 without smashing his thumb ..... Deandre will always suck way worse than a regular person at.
