Let's say you own a new expansion team and got to pick any NBA player to start your franchise with. Rank the following players in terms of who you would start your franchise with: Curry- turns 28 tomorrow, Durant-27, Bran-31, Anthony Davis-23, KAT-20, and Kawhi-24.

I think Curry and Durant will age well. They will still be top 5 players for 8 more years.

1. Curry
2. KAT
3. Durant
4. Davis
5. Kawhi
6. Bran

Davis at 4 lmao. you idiot. Why is LeBron even on this list? Dude's 31 and approaching 1000 regular season games played.

Lebron, he's the only one I know who can guarantee that our team isn't a shitty lottery one. The other guys have either always played on good teams so I have no idea how they'd do with 4 random other guys. Rest still haven't proven anything.

Also Lebron means $$$$$$$

LeBron. We'll be the most popular NBA team, and he'll make the playoffs for sure. We'll use all that money to collude.

That is true. An expansion team will have maximum cap space. However, I think more players would want to play with Curry instead of Bran. Curry makes everyone better while Bran turns all stars into role players.

It's not like Curry is 23 years old. He will be 30 in a couple of years. He might become Ray Allen-like (running around a hundred screens, catch and shoot, deadly clutch shooter) but he won't be able to these crazy behind the back crossovers or pull ups from 30 feet forever.

LeBron
KD

Those two first. Whoever after them.

They've showed that they can carry a bunch of nobodies to a top seed in their conferences. LeBron - numerous times with his first Cavs teams. KD in his MVP year when Russ went down.

If you don't win a title before that contract is up he's gone. Only reason he might stick around if the Cavs don't win now is because he knows if he leaves again someone from Cleveland will probably put a hit out on him or something. Nobody else on that list has left their team yet except for Lebron
