Ever attempted suicide? Or cut?

Anyhow, i've been baker acted about 4 times in my life. (Involuntary action taken by cops or family when i've been suicidal)

I used to be a cutter, but I was too much of a bitch to go deep enough to cause real damage. I do have a lot of scars on my arms and stomach from cutting, though.

I once tried to buy a gun to kill someone else and myself with, but they told me I had to have my physical address on my license to purchase. (I had a P.O. Box) That was over 5 years ago.

I passed out at the wheel from being drunk/drugged up a couple of times and flipped my car over. (Two D.U.I.S) But I don't think they were suicide attempts, although I guess I didn't care if I died.

Probably. I didn't have a Dad growing up and my Mom was very distant; she only seemed to show love when she was drinking.

I would cling to a "best friend" for reassurance. Of course, none of those "best friends" ever gave a shit about me. :lol

An ex-girlfriend that played me like a flute. Got pregnant and made me think it was mine. Eventually had a miscarriage, but used me so she'd have someone around during the pregnancy. The reason I know is, after like the second time of having sex...this bitch was BEGGING me to finish inside of her. She was hot and I was desperate, so I didn't put it together until she left me immediately after the miscarriage.

Why would you knowingly attempt to have children knowing the great chances they will inherit your mental illness? Seems like your mom was dealing with some deep seeded issues related to mental health as well.

Also, why do you love Jesus so much if you have accepted him as your Lord and Savior yet you still deal with so much suffering and self-hatred? I thought Born Agains were supposed to get some degree of relief from their inner demons.

Ever considering trying to polish your personality? Like reading some books, getting some education, caring about stuff, being nice to people, etc. Once you do that, people will get back at you with their kindness.

1. I had kids selfishly. I wanted the family I never had. I wanted to love someone and be loved back. I wanted to try and change the cycle.

2. Being a Christian doesn't mean life turns to unicorns and rainbows. :lol I have a LOT of relief from before I became a Christian, but even if I didn't...God says we will suffer as Christians. "2 Timothy, Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted." John 15-18

Pretty much this. I have no trust in other human beings except for my immediate family. I'm cynical as hell. Friends are not forever. Only a few people are lucky to have those lifetimes friends. I for now have yet to find anyone who I have such a personal connection to.

Thats called living in denial. We live in a society and we have to get along with each other and help each other out. That happens by every individual trying to be a better person (more educated, better mannered, bringing back to the community). I feel like it's really hard for a modern younger person (less than 30) to have faith and throw all the skepticism to the side during the Internet era to accept the Bible as the unadulterated truth.

Saying that, if God were truly omniscient to what humans know deal with on Earth He would understand that having faith today is quite different than having faith say 200 years ago.

As such, those so in tuned with the Truth despite all the avenues for ridicule and suppression in today's world could be said to have greater faith than any other time in history.

I know the 'reward' is supposed to be not in this life but the next but if God were real, he would understand how much harder it is to believe because the world is more complicated and things are more understood from a secular, scientific and logical standpoint. That's the way the world is generally shifting.

I would think having Faith in today's world would be good reason for God to bless the believer now than ever before yet so many Christians have just as shitty of lives as people who have no Faith.
