He wanted that ball BAD, and once his teammate hit the GW, Melo looked like one of the Lakers players with their "**** it" reaction

Perfect proof that Melo is all about himself

Damn, the body language of the Knicks players' after the shot was horrible, seemed like none of them cared.

Carmelo's was way worse. Once that bell went in, Melo looked over at Jose and then turned his head. You already know this jackass isn't a team guy :oldlol:

Why don't you wait to see his face before assuming he was upset about it?

To the naked eye it does look he is dejected. He wanted it to be his moment, the last time he gets to play Kobe.

He always wants it to be his moment, that's the problem.

lottery teams celebrating GWs at this point in the season is like a 50 year old celebrating losing his virginity.

The season means jack shit for the Knicks from here on..

No pick, no one wants to sign there, coach is a piece of shit. Rambis sucks ass don't know why Phil keeps that turd hanging around

Funny how you point to this and say he's selfish but don't mention the game in San Antonio where he gave the ball to Calderon for wide open shot and he missed it. Perfect proof that you just hate melo and no matter what you will find a reason to hate him.

I've never seen a less enthusiastic team celebrate a game winner. Based on where those two teams are going though, the Lakers actually won.

they didn't celebrate cause they are too far behind in the playoff race and it's the lakers so they're supposed to beat them.

Wow, usually I don't really care for sh*t like this because we can't see into someone's head and we can't hear what they are saying.

But look at Lopez. The shot goes in and he doesn't celebrate...he just walks straight to Carmelo and puts his hand up as if to say "my bad, i know, i know, i was supposed to pass it to you"

Teen age angst in here is strong. "Melo only cares about himself" -

If he waives his no trade clause, how many of you dinks would be hanging on his salty meatballs? SMH :facepalm

That's really sad that none of his teammates jumped on him and congratulated him.

A shot like that is usually highly celebrated.

Piss poor team in NY.

You expect them to get excited over this?

Why we have to suffer your God-awful posts is beyond my comprehension. Isn't there at least one LeBron thread you can go ruin?

Actually no one seems to care. Calderon himself hits the GW and walks to the bench like a illegal screen was called or something.
I slept on halftime cause this game was so bad it was unwatchable.

Melo's time as possible centerpiece to a legitimate squad is over. Sorry.

No need to apologize.... I've been watching the decline. He never really was a "centerpiece" to begin with -

Only thing thats declined is his fga, He is finally starting to get his legs under him and fully recover from injury putting up 25.1 points (51.9 FG, 33.3 3Pt, 92.9 FT), 8.4 rebounds, 3.9 assists this month.

ok, and look at all of his peers in his age range. They are declining just as much, most of them are on a decline of epic proprtions like Dwight and Wade. Even Lebron is a shell of his 09-14 self.

Rightfully so. But we're talking about Melo here. A lot of these guys never totally recoup from a surgery. I've watched just about all the hours he's logged for this team, and his effort on most nights. At this point, I don't really know if I want him to go win one with a better team - he's earned that - or stick around as the elder statesman.
