Congrats little boy :applause:

Now that he's 28, lets compare him vs. LeBron at age 28, to see if Curry has a chance to catch Bron

Points

LeBron : 21,081

Curry: 10,605

Rebounds

LeBron: 5,553

Curry: 2,047

Assists

LeBron: 5,302

Curry: 3,269

What is this, LeBron has more than twice the amount of stats as Curry at the same age??

"But OP.. LeBron came straight out of high school, while Curry played in college, this is unfair for Curry"

Agreed.... so let's use their career per game stats at 28, this should benefit Curry, as he had 3 years to brush his game in college, while LeBron's Career stats are tainted by playing as a 18 year old rookie.

Career averages at 28:

LeBron: 27.5 ppg 7.3 rebs 6.9 assists

Curry: 22.2 ppg 4.3 rebs 6.8 assists

Seems like Curry unfortunately still falls behind

Finally, let's try and throw Curry a bone and look at Awards, Accomplishments at 28, he already falls behind in other areas, maybe this is one area where he can break ground.

MVPs

LeBron: 4

Curry: 1

Championships

LeBron: 2

Curry: 1

FMVPs

LeBron: 2

Curry: 0

Damn, even the accomplishments game doesn't favor Curry. :(

But OP, who cares about career at age X or whatever, Curry is FREAKING averaging 30.5ppg 5.3 rebounds 6.5 assists this season. Thats all that matters.

Well LeBron has had seasons of:

27.2 points 7.4 rebounds 7.2 assists

31.4 points 7.0 rebounds 6.6 assists

30.0 points 7.9 rebounds 7.2 assists

28.4 points 7.6 rebounds 7.2 assists

29.7 points 7.2 rebounds 8.6 assists

26.8 points 8.0 rebounds 7.3 assists

Do you guys realize, if LeBron has had Curry's current season, it would be one of the worst seasons of LeBrons career?

Curry's current season is equivalent to one of LeBron's worst, so the Curry's peak > argument is invalid.

Damn it seems Curry falls short in every way (Career, per games, accomplishments, peak, prime) :biggums:

Hopefully the little boy can pick it up, seems like he has a long way to go to catch LeKing :(

But Happy Birthday Curry!

0/11 * 10 years (Age 28 to Age 38) = 0/110

You're obviously a math genius. So 1/2 * 2 = 1/4?

It's just coincidence that both 0/11 * 10 and 0/110 are 0. And if you add a dimension into an equation the dimension has to be on both sides of it.

Kids are so dumb nowadays. Thank you OP for putting everything in perspective. Curry is having a great shooting season on a great team, but comparing him to Lebron is just silly.

Rebounding
Remember that white unauthentic stiff called Larry Bird that in today’s game would be Steve Novak? He got more offensive rebounds than Lebron. How is that possible? Such a specimen like Lebron, such a great rebounder!! Lebron’s offensive rebounds vs total rebounds disparity is laughable, dude is playing with Thompson and Mozgov and getting 14 defensive rebounds, how pathetic is that? Tremendous impact on the game getting that defensive rebound against your teammates when every player from the other team is already on their halfcourt! :applause:

How do you statpad rebounds? 2015 NBA finals Lebron James. No other literature needed.

Passing
I’m just going to refer to this thread that was avoided like rat poison by lebrontards after the last post:
http://www.insidehoops.com/forum/showthread.php?t=379689&page=2
http://www.insidehoops.com/forum/showpost.php?p=11477914&postcount=20

Cavs players shooting 30% and he still averages 8 assists. Lebronball never fails to fill up the boxscore. :applause:

Shooting
This one is dead and buried, horrific performance. I just want to point out, that when everyone was deepthroating Lebron for his “historic perimeter fg%” I was the only one here pointing out only Landry Fields shot less from the perimeter and Lebron was cherry picking like no one ever before in the NBA, and that if he took more shots his FG% would plummet. I stand correct.

Defense, leadership and choking
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zK9wLWF8TXo

Green bullied Lebron in the paint all the time, he doesn’t get mad at teammates shooting 20% he doesn’t get mad at botched defensive assignments, he gets mad and yells at Thompson because he switched and had to deal with green again that bullied him again.

What happened to the complex intricate Blatt offensive system? The one Lebron mastered the 5 positions? Remember that? Sooner or later everyone falls in line, it’s all about Lebronball.

Again underwhelming 4th quarters with choking involved, lost game 1 and in the pivotal game 2 he choked, game went overtime because of him, he got lucky GSW as a team choked even more.

Conclusion
Who in here after game 5, looked at the boxscore and was surprised Lebron had 40 points? Everyone right? Unforgettable boxscores on forgettable performances, the mark of a statpadder.

Pretty sure Curry doesn't average 20 seconds with the ball in his hands per team possession. Pretty sure Curry actually has a off ball game he actually makes his teammates better instead of just have them stand still behind the 3pt line.

Yes Curry is nowhere near the legendary statpadding\cherry picking status of Lebron, not even close.

But his impact now in his team and in the game is greater than LEbron's ever been, and he is going to end up with more rings than Lebron.

Idiots are going to keep bringing up boxscores.
Idiots will keep bringing the 28ppg on 68% TS in the 2014 finals, when everybody knows, Lebron input on that series was basically statpadding when the games were over.

Idiots will not mention the 30% shooting performance of Lebron last year.

Idiots will not mention how he made his coach keep double and triple team Curry when it wasn't working, even when the games and series were over, how he made his coach play Mozgov only 9 minutes after he had a monster game and stole the show from Lebron, because he wanted that fmvp.

Let that sink in for a moment, he made his coach, coach for him and no the team, basically shitting on any chance the cavs had, still he loses the fmvp for a ROLE player and then in appreciation for what the coach did, he have him fired.

:applause:

Biggest choke in a finals series, first ring gifted by the NBA\refs, refs beat the celtics, refs beat OKC, the headlines were all about Durant shitting on LEbron in the 4th quarters before refs mode was activated, Ray frigging Allen, faking cramps after air balling, faking a mysterious elbow injury, quitting on his team, so that he could bolt to Miami, quitting on Miami when they got old and injured and writing essays on how he was excited to play with Kyrie Irving, flopping, boxscores full of empty stats... what a legacy!

LEbron ain't so champion, he is a statpadder cramp bitch loser. There's no amount points, rebounds, assists that will ever change that.

Oh and Lebron dominated on the shittiest era since the 60's.

Just a couple days i was watching the Spurs game, only players with all-star, DPOY and FMVP same year, Jordan, Hakeem and Kawhi. Jordan took 10 years to do it, Hakeem 7, Kawhi 3. lol This is 2014 Kawhi not even 2016 Kawhi, that would still make it bad.

How do yo spell weak era? Like more evidence was needed.

And how about his team? Remember when every year people would say "Spurs are done"? Cause that's what happens to great teams, they get older and someone better comes around... not when you are getting older into a shitty era, when there's nobody better to come around, you still go to two finals and still keep winning 60 games a season.

If you think Kobe is getting disrespected and the end of his career, wait for Lebron's, he isn't even respected now.

For me he can't catch Bron for 2 main reasons. He took too long to become a true superstar level player, Lebron basically was at age 20-21, and 2nd his defense isn't good enough.

Curry will be extremely effective in his later years like Nash was until about 36-37.

golden State doesn't have to worry about this core for another 2 years so he has 2 more years for video game numbers. Shooters will always have a place in the league even at 37-42 years old.

Conceivably he could win several championships as the non man just from his shooting.

Are you mentally retarded? Nevermind, you clearly are.

Curry has been leading to blowout wins, and thus skipping 4th quarter time.

LeBron put up large individual raw numbers......playing 36-40 minutes a game and hogging the ball the entire time.

Curry is playing more than 10% less MPG than LeBron these past two season (compared to LeBron's prime).

Curry's points per 36 minutes = 32.4

LeBron's best seasons of points per 36 minutes = 27.4, 27.2

Curry's TS% this season = 68% TS
LeBron's best season = 65% TS (with a ton of fastbreak easy points)

Curry also has LeBron's best seasons beat in WS/48 and Ortg

BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY
Curry does his damage in the half-court, which contributes more against good teams and in the playoffs.

AND

When Curry doesn't have the ball, his shooting still helps his teammates with space
When LeBron doesn't have the ball, his lack of shooting hurt his teammates for most of his career

So Curry has more positive impact that is not picked up in his own stats.

Go grab your 6 alts and come try and shit on me. Everyone knows your game
