if they play anyone besides the cavs in the 1st round they would upset them so you should be glad they dont make it if your a raptors fan.Im sure you dont want Wall dicking down Lowry again :lol

why would I be happy about a team that has never achieved anything missing the playoffs???

I don't understand the logic. If anything its a tragedy they aren't gonna make it. Too much talent on that team...of course you cant compete with injuries but still its just sad how the wizards were lookin glike a team on the come up the past two seasons along with the raptors whereas the raptors looked like perennial pretenders and the wizards looked like they might be able to compete for a ring starting this season but it seems the roles were reversed and I can quite put my finger on why...especially since john wall has improved every year since entering the league...they have built a great cast of characters around him. Could it be better? YES

But they have more than enough talent on their team to be at LEAST the 2 seed out east.

And every retarded Wizard fan thought they'd be getting KD this summer. :yaohappy:

Giving up their pick for Markieff Morris is looking dumber every day.

But I guess it wouldn't have done them any good. This is the same team that drafted Jan Vesely and Chris Singleton in the same draft to compliment Wall in the future. :facepalm

I'm not happy since I thought if they did a good job in the Playoffs, they could improve their chances of grabbing Durant's attention, but you're right. They're a boring team to watch. I can't stand Wall, it's like watching paint dry.

They played this same shitty brand of basketball last season, just with less injuries.

They played a completely different style in the playoffs.

This team has jerked me around so much this year. It's a chore to watch their games. Wall basically plays 2-on-5 with Gortat, trying to thread passes on the PnR when the entire other team is keyed up on him.

Beal and Dudley are our only good players who also can hit 3's. Neal could shoot but he sucks. Alan Anderson can shoot but HE sucks. Otto Porter is a smart player who just doesn't have the juice to be a game changer.

Our bench players are really bad. Nene has missed like 20 games (as usual).

Sad sad season, and no picks to turn the future around with :(

I'm not a Wall fan he is way too arrogant for what he has achieved up to this point. They are a better playoff team but never are a serious threat. Nene and Gortat are alittle redundant on the floor Together. I wouldn't want to see Durant join but that would be interesting. For this season i'd much rather see Boston and Detroit in the playoffs.

Yes. Because their struggling makes it more likely Durant leaves not for Was but opens the door for the Warriors. There's no hurt hometown feelings to Was because a top player at his peak ain't leaving for a shit team unless he can collude to get another top player and form some trio. Without the pressure of going to Was, Durant feels more inclined to leave OKC. Which means Westbrook sure as hell ain't staying in OKC the following offseason and one can only lead to the conclusion he's coming home to LA.

So thanks a lot Washington. Durant is going to the Warriors to form some super dynasty, the Lakers will be back as contenders , and OKC's fanbase and support will dwindle so much that they end up moving back to Seattle. All because of your incompetent FO.

With KD Bullets are automatically a top 2 seed in the East even with a bum like Wittman coaching. He probably won't choose Washington though, which is a shame.

God save us from a Leonsis-Grunfeld-Wittman trio.

I am... they are overrated. Wall was and will always be a and-1 type player. He doesnt make the team any better. Empty stats.....

Nah.. Their fans aren't really smug enough for me to take joy in them losing out on the post season.

So is John Wall gonna get a pass for missing the playoffs in the weak East?

ISH doesn't care enough for Wall for that to matter.

We had the morale beaten from us for a few years. We know how easy a team can fall off. Those of us who aren't fairweather fans are going to have to be masochists.

durant was going to leave OKC regardless of what washington did. Otherwise he would have resigned long ago.

Grunfeld has been the GM for 13 years i believe and the most games they have ever won is 46. They have never gotten past the 2nd round on his watch. I could go on all day about his dumbass moves over the years.

The only thing he does well is suck up to the owner. That is the only explanation why this clown still has a job. The Wizards will never be good until they get rid of him.

They were mediocre last year but the weak east, good health and injuries to other teams made them look better than they were.

The worst thing that can happen is that they miss the playoffs and lose their pick, which they will unless it is top 9. I am hoping for this to happen to put pressure on Ted Dumbass Leonsis to fire Grunfail.

^This

Leonsis is too loyal to his employees. He's long had that reputation. Also Ernie is well liked around the league (from what I've heard). I guess other teams like having a dumbass around they can fleece once in a while :(
