health isn't a choke, it happens

However, I actually noted some valid chokes on Wade's resume.

In '07 he wasn't healthy and wasn't supposed to be playing.

Agreed, the fact he was fully healthy and rested 28 games in the regular season amplifies the situation.

If '07 Wade is a choke then the '14 Finals is on Bron.

He was hurt and not supposed to be playing. Bron statpadded his numbers in '14.

Game 3
Lebron had 14 points and 0 TO in first quarter, then 8 points and 7 TOs for the last 3 quarters. LeBron had 22-5-7-5 with 7 TOs on 64%, Wade had 22-4-2-2 with 5 TOs on 67%.

But over the last 3 quarters, LeBron had 8 points and 7 TOs to Wades 20 points and 3 TOs. The Heat cut the lead from 15 to 9 without LeBron, after Wade subbed in for him, from the 5:00 to 1:00 mark of the 3rd quarter, but even with that help LeBron still lost.

Game 4
Lebron had 9 points in first half and the Heat were blown out by 19 at halftime. He padded his stats from there, and he did not score on Leonard in the first half.

Game 5
Lebron had 1 FG in 2nd quarter (2:30 mark) to bring the Heat within 5. Then he did not score again until the Heat were down 21 with 4:40 in the 3rd. LeBron shot 1-6 against Leonard this game according to the ESPN article MVP Leonard Does it All (and according to the same article Leonard shot 65% on LeBron for the series)

Wade was the one who statpadded

Im sure ArbitaryWater has a post somewhere here saying if you take out Wade's padded points when the game was >> 20 points, Wade averaged 10 points on 37% the entire series.

This matches what I remember that Finals.

Throughout that year I said Bron would always score when the game was already decided.

So many games Wade lead them up big, might probably score 30 and sit out the 4th, Bron might have 18 at that point, score 15 quick in essentially garbage time and then you see "Lebron leads Heat to victory with 33"

Moving aside from that ****** ruining this thread.

2009 Wade was the definition of unstoppable. Hitting step back 3s in your face, automatic midrange game, dunking on everyone. Playmaking at a crazy rate (7.5 APG as the 2 guard with bum teammates) finished 3rd in DPOY, averaged 2.2 steals and 1.4 blocks per game.

if 2009 Wade had even an above average supporting cast, that man was winning a title. He was on another level.

Wade from 2004 - 2011, with the exception of an injury riddled second half of 2007, and the 2008 season ... is right up there all time with nearly anyone in terms of most entertaining individual players to watch.

It's too bad people can't simply appreciate a great game from a great player. Anyways, I think this game was on the heels or just after Wade's 48 point masterpiece against the Bulls with that ridiculous game winner. Dude had it rolling like none-other in March/April of that year, no-one could stop him. Kind of reminds me of 2014 LeBron, a dunking machine who sadly no longer does so.

Agreed, at the very least he was fun to watch, that's an undeniable as Kobe being third all-time in scoring. Too bad his team was preparing for Free agency during that period and not contending, still great to go back and watch highlights though
