Prime KD and WB. Ibaka, Kanter could both score, Adams, Waiters, Morrow are all good role players

Here's the thing....

Usually you want a playmaker to be coming off the bench to make plays for the team. Kanter... while good offensively tends to be a black hole, sure you can dump him the ball and pray for a score one on one, but as soon as help defense comes he's either gonna turn it over or put up a shitty shot.

Dude has less than 200 assists in his entire career... that's beyond pathetic.

I see this all the time, and it's simply not true.

Mike Conley is good, starting caliber on a championship team good. But he's not a franchise cornerstone like Westbrook.

WB has been giving great passes this year, just look at his assists numbers if you don't want to watch the games.
Last night, probably 6 of his ast were for point blank layups for Kanter.

Kanter can't be that guy because he is so incredibly godawful defensively that he can't be on the floor for any meaningful minutes. After KD, RWB, and the ghost of Ibaka, their entire roster is entirely one way players. Roberson is an elite defensive wing. But teams literally do not guard him at all offensively. Morrow can shoot but can't defend. Kanter can score down low but is a sieve defensively.
