Pathetic? Wade will be one of the fastest guards ever to reach 20K in terms of games and minutes. He averages 24 ppg on 49% for his career. He's played significantly fewer games than almost everyone he's passed on the all-time scoring list. That is the mark of a truly great scorer, not just a consistently good scorer or a compiler.

In terms of his longevity, it's great to see Wade exceeding expectations (mine included). Many people thought he'd be finished at this stage in his career, but at 34 years old he's having an excellent season and is the leading scorer for a top 4 team in the conference. When all is said and done, Wade will have some impressive career totals to go along with his impressive career averages.

I'm going to guess he plays 3 more years after this and gets around 4,000 points so he'll finish 24,000ish points wise and #24 all-time right behind Allen Iverson
