If the NBA would have never changed the first round format from a best of five to a best of seven series. Oddly enough, they made the change in 2003, the first time T-Mac had a lead in a playoff series.

2003 Orlando vs. Detroit.
McGrady led the Magic to a 3-1 over the Pistons

2005 Houston vs. Dallas
McGrady led the Rockets to a 3-2 lead over the Mavericks

2007 Houston vs. Utah
McGrady led the Rockets to a 3-2 lead over the Jazz

A player can only do so much to a team they're not supposed to beat for a 7 game series.

Didn't he play on the Spurs team that made it to the WCFs?

Yeah, he played less minutes than Mitch Richmond on the Lakers in 2001. Of course I'm talking about prime McGrady.

The guy played excellent in the playoffs. He was just unlucky that Yao and Grant were always injured. His supporting casts without Yao/Grant Hill were some of the most shitty you'd see in a playoff team.

Never felt sorry for T-Mac. If he would've stayed in Toronto, he and Vince would've been one of the best duos in NBA history.

Back then players were not ******* though that colluded. T-Mac would rather be a rival of his cousin Vince than play with him.

OK...

So then you can't f*cking b*tch later when he doesn't make it past the first round and complain that he doesn't have help. :facepalm

How about you read what words mean before you use them:

And based on your posts on this forum you might as well go ahead and read the whole dictionary while you're at it.

Well their opponents may have played with more desperation in a game 5 knowing that it was the last game instead of the best-of-seven, so who knows?

That Dallas one was painful to watch with him and Yao scoring like all the team's points and everyone else throwing up bricks.
