Can Miami bring down Cleveland? Charlotte? Toronto?

Only chance is if Bosh recovers fully.

The East has had good teams enter the playoffs in recent years that play below expectations once they reach the postseason.

2015 Hawks -> struggled all postseason
2015 Raptors -> swept in Round 1
2014 Pacers -> had that struggle in the 2nd half of the season, didn't put away teams in the first two rounds the way they should have
2013 Nets -> upset by Nate Robinson and the crippled Chicago Bulls
2013 Knicks -> J.R. Smith suspension vs. Boston, team falls apart

Simpler question : put any team from the East to the West , how far would that East team go?

Middle teams are better, but top teams are worse.

apart from SA and GS, the east is better than the west.
Spurs, gsw, cavs are equal
Raptors>OKC
Celtics>clippers
Heat>memphis
pacers=blazers
pistons=rockets
bulls>jazz

Nah...the Thunder would be favored over the Raps in a series. The Clippers would be favored over the Celtics in a series.

The East is better overall this year, but they still only have 1 team capable of much in the playoffs if they played in the West.

West still has 3 of the best 4 teams...probably 4 of the 5 best once Griffin is back.

I think the Raptors could put up a really strong fight against the Thunder or Clippers, but still you're probably right.

There's an indicator if east is still weak.

Lebron's still there.
