[QUOTE]Jackson said his proudest memory of Bryant was seeing him asleep at 8:30 a.m. in his car at the Lakers

If Kobe had Bran's body and health he would have been the undisputed GOAT. Athletically Kobe's combine performance was comparable to JR Smith's combine performance. This is why I respect players like Kobe and Curry over Shaq and Bran. Elite work ethic instead of God given athletic traits.

Kobe also claims he only sleeps 4 hours a day. I can't imagine how he does it.

Bran? why would you call Lebron bran?

Kobe's combine number's aren't available, and if they were they would be from a 17 year old Kobe.

No he wouldn't, becuase Lebron isn't built to play the finesse style of midrange that Kobe does. He's built to use his physical tools to finish at the rim as well as create for others.

If Kobe would have had Lebron's body with his own mentality, he'd spend all his time copying MJ and trying to work on twisting fadeaways with Lebron's 6'9 270 lb frame. His need to shotjack and be the hero would also ensure that he never does any of the stuff that Lebron does to make an elite impact. He'd be an absolute disaster with Lebron's gifts.

The pro-Bryant trolls are trying to prop up the idiotic myth that he wasn't a gifted athlete.

Lebron is built to be a low post player.

Lebron doesn't get the max out of his athleticism.

Low post player with his speed and court vision, nope... He can carry any scrub team to the Finals as a wing, not as a Karl Malone

Lebron should have been a better Charles Barkley, which would have meant he would be one of the best ever, but he doesn't have the tenacity or the hustle of Sir Charles.

Kobe is elite in the post. Imagine what he would do in Bran's body. He would undoubtedly be the undisputed MDE.

Kobe and Curry are just average guys who had to work for what they got

LeBron was gifted the greatest body in the history of the NBA and pissed it away

I have no idea where this idea came from. Like, you don't win a slam dunk contest by not being athletic. It's like his own stans didn't even watch him before he's old and crippled.

Always hated Kobe. However, this kind of story is what make me respect him more than most of the younger players.

Kobe is very old school. Cut from the same mold as Bird and Jordan. If you haven't noticed, this guy really has no close friends in this league. His farewell tour is filled with awkward interactions with his fellow players and competitors. You see him on camera getting interviewed and he is really trying to come off as nice....But he ain't nice. He's a killer.

Anyway, Lebron is absolutely nothing like Kobe. Lebron needs to be liked. He's friendly with his competition (Wade, Melo, KD, CP3). He has not put in the kind of work on his game that Kobe has either. You can see it.

Kobe is such a nerd. There's nothing wrong with being a nerd tho.... Especially if you're getting paid millions :oldlol:

Never been a Kobe fan, but you have to respect the guy when it comes to basketball. He's a dying breed, well this is his last season. Duncan will retire really soon too. Those guys came in during the hip hop era but had old school work ethics. That kind of thing is very very rare in players today. Pride is out of the window for most players these days.

If Kobe had Bran's body and health he would have been the undisputed GOAT.
But he'd still have Kobe's shot selection.

Wut? What are you trying to say? Than when judging basketball players, actuall basketball skill should have the most weight? That's crazy thinking!

No because he'd be able to barrel his way to the basket when all else fails and get to the rim.

No, he didn't. Plenty of guys have said how naturally talented Kobe is. Like the stories of him beating pros as a 16/17 year old.

Horry said he's the fastest learner he ever played with.

This makes it seem like Lebron's the social, life of the party kinda guy. While Kobe is the awkward outcast who eventually decides to shoot up the school. Since most of ISH falls in the second category, it's evident why Kobe is so much more loved on here than any other place I can think of outside California.

Also, I think Lebron has put on in an incredible amount of work but he just doesn't have certain natural talents that Kobe does.

Yes he did, he clearly practiced many hours.
