what current players will surpass Kobe all time within the next 5 years? :confusedshrug:

Anthony Davis and Westbrook definitely have a good chance. Those two are the obvious choices, but I think Kawhi may be a dark horse here as well. If the Spurs get another ring or 2 the question will be raised, and rightfully so.

As much as it pains me to admit this, I'm worried Kobe may fall out of the top 20 within the the next 5-8 years. :(

Kobe is no more than Clyde Drexler of his era, and he's fading fast

By 2020 he'll be 20be

Curry will surpass Kobe but after that we probably have to wait for Durant and Della Donne's son. Doesn't look like there are any players in the NBA, college, high school, or even middle school level that will surpass Kobe.

Maybe my expectations for Kobe were too high. Guess I let the media hype get to me, cause when I really think about it Brent Barry was 100% on point when he said the league never belonged to Kobe. The only season he had an argument for best in the world status was 2007, and even then his team lost in the first round to a squad led by a canadian midget. :lol
The very next season Kobe had the league taken from him right in the middle of his prime by Lebron. Considering Kobe never even had an era it's not really a surprise he wouldn't be able to remain in the top 20. Kinda sad considering everything that got handed to him throughout his entire career ie most dominate big ever, GOAT coach, etc

Pau Gasol, if he gets another ring + the fmvp 12be stole from him, he passes him for sure.
