Why can't every team play this way

They just constantly move, get the ball into the half court quickly, use just about every fundamental court position... Beautiful to watch... They just take the first open/high quality shot

Especially like the high post usage with the passing bigs

I think it's about a higher ceiling vs a higher floor.

When you have an on-ball guy controlling all the action, there's going to be a nearly guaranteed minimum offense.

Offenses with guys knowing their roles, without as much ball-dominance, seem to allow for higher highs.

When you have the talent of GS or SA and you have a quality motion offense, things will turn out awesome. Without the top-flight talent you can still be pretty awesome though (Boston, Atlanta).

good high post passers are essential for an offense with lots of movement
