That's how it was in those days. I don't give a shit.
Muhammed Ali spoke passionately against interracial marriage.
Eddie Murphy used the term 'f@ggots' with blatant disdain over and over in his comedy.
Hell, Spike Lee just a few years ago was in such a rush to get an accused 'white' person murked by angry mobs that he inadvertently tweeted an innocent couple's address and could have gotten them killed.
I don't care what Donald Trump was doing in 1973. I care about what he stands for today.

You're wasting your time playing the "he's racist!" game.
Nobody cares here except the cuckolds. You're not gonna convince the intelligent posters here to give a shit.

Fair enough, I see where you're coming from. Do you really think Trump would be a good president though? Do you agree with his policies in general?

There are other candidates I would prefer but none of them get the kind of recognition in the mainstream that could realistically lead to winning.
I agree with his stated beliefs about curtailing illegal latin american immigration, even though I disagree with the wall rhetoric. I agree with his stated beliefs that there is no benefit to America to let further Muslim populations in at all. I think his rhetoric about China is nationalistic bravado. Many of his views on trade and budget issues are rooted in the same sound logic I support, so I agree with much of that.
Anyhow, I'm not expecting him to come in and be a hero, because unlike most people, I don't expect that of any President. I think we should be dictating to the government what the policies are, not simply choosing which person we like better then having them figure it all out. Trump is the candidate with the least lobby influence and therefore the most leeway to tell it like it is and do what SHOULD be done. Whether it would play out that way is not a certainty, however I feel he presents the most likely possibility for such a scenario.
