No Iggy. No Bogut. Curry having his worst game of the season. At the Spurs.
And the Warriors have a chance to win with 3 minutes left.

Never thought I'd see the day that warrior fans would be using injuries as an excuse for a loss after being so dismissive of the impact of injuries that occurred to every tteam it played in the playoffs last year.
I thought San Antonio was a big team.Look at them and their fans acting like its the playoffs.

Lol iggy is a big loss so I'll give you that.
But Kevin Martin isn't getting play time for the Spurs yet...
And curry having a bad game kind of had to do with the Spurs defense...
Didn't y'all win a championship because of injuries?

what a time... my nerves are calm now.. knowing spurs cant win easily against depleted dubs.. id be more concerned if the dubs had to face the lakers in the playoffs

Iggy guarding Leonard, And bogut on Aldridge is gonna be a the game changer. Spurs have a slight chance in the playoffs, but it's still looking like a 4-2 matchup for dubs

Spurs played badly as well. Had 17 turnovers when they usually average a lot less.
They don't know, think these old men can keep that pace up 7 games. Its over baby.:lol

If Aldridge improves in the Spurs system they can really create hell for warriors, but I don't see it happening this season.
I'm pretty sure both teams will be better next season too

Curry didn't just randomly have his "worst game of the season".
The Warriors didn't just randomly shoot 9-36 from three.
The Spurs who have by far the best defense in the defense stifled them like no other team can. They MADE it tough for them.
That is something that isn't going away, it's a legit problem for the Warriors.

How good are the Spurs....to play as average as they did tonight and still take care of this so called "All time great team"

Where was that defense the first time they played?

Where was that defense the first time they played? The Spurs obviously learned from that game and made adjustments. And with that game, sometimes a team is just too good and it's not your night.

And having played the night before. I wouldn't be too happy if I were them. But I am sure they know this too. Still a win is better than a loss. At least their home winning streak didn't get ended under all those circumstances.

Topics like this are as bad as all the retards coming out saying how GS/Curry can't play vs good defenses after they have their 1st loss out 7 games vs top quality teams. :lol Take the L, don't make excuses and move on. Spurs have beaten GS since the 90s and did it again thanks to Pop's great tactics. People were delusional if they thought Pop was going to put a B team in the game though, becaue he still hadn't figured them out. Now we see if that's the case or if they caught them in an off night (or both).
Spurs showed Warriors how they will play them in the playoffs. It's up to Kerr to make adjustments, because you know every top tier team will be rewatching this game on tape and using this tactic a few weeks from now.

What a coincidence. Curry had his worst game of the season against the best defensive team in the league.

Back-2-Back...maybe an excuse. I mean...Dallas really took it to them the night before.
On the road? Bitch please. Dallas to San Antonio is a 4 hour drive. On a plane, it's less than a one hour flight.

So who's to say the warriors wont make adjustments and plant the spurs into the ground again in two weeks? Sample size is too small to say they were locked up.

Curry isn't going to shoot 4/18 an entire series.
No adjustments in the WORLD are gonna hold a player of Curry's caliber to those putrid shooting percentages CONSISTENTLY.
In that sense, yesterday's game WAS random.

I'm just saying the night Curry had wasn't just coincidence, the Spurs helped make him look like that with their best in the league defense. If the Warriors played OKC instead of SAS last night you think Curry would have a game anywhere near that bad?
It won't always happen because you can't shut down great players/teams like that but the Spurs have the ability that no other team does to potentially slow them down.
Both these teams can definitely beat eachother, I've been saying it all year. Everyone overreacted to the earlier matchup but I knew better. These 2 teams are too good for one to have a clear advantage over the other.

Curry struggled for 2 games vs Cavs as well, you can't make him inneffective for a 7 game series. Unless you have two completely different tactics, both of which are effect and flip them halfway into a series.

Unless you have two completely different tactics, both of which are effect and flip them halfway into a series. You don't need him to struggle for the whole series just a couple of games. Think about if he struggles in one of the first 2 games and the Spurs win one in Golden State, they would have all the momentum in the world after that.
