View Full Version : So the general consensus is the Heat are favorites in the East

Bosh is due back any day now and they have the most stacked roster in the conference by far. If Lebron somehow overcomes these insurmountable odds and get to the Finals AGAIN he is top 2 all time.
This will not be debatable. 6 straight Finals appearances is unheard of in the modern era of not only the NBA, but pro sports period. Doing so as the underdog just moves him up that much further.

More like bran is 0/6 coz his team can make it to the finals without him dumby boy

But don't you guys always say Wade & Bosh suck? So how would LeBron with HCA be an underdog to a team who's two best players are such trash?

Tbh, the entire East is such a friggin blood bath I think you could argue there IS no single favorite. Unlike the West, every playoff team in the East has a shot at winning it all. It's that deep. Obviously Lebron is a veteran who is used to going deep. Real deep. But this would arguably be his most impressive work yet, to take THIS garbage squad all the way through THAT conference and make the finals.

We'll see what happens.

Cavs aren't any special snowflake but they're still best in the East.

Heat look disjointed.
Celtics' best player is Isiah Thomas.
Raptors look purple.

It would be an embarrassment for the cavs to lose to any of these guys.

But Wade and Bosh are only supporting players now. With Dragic, Deng, Whiteside, Richardson, and Joe Johnson carrying the load the Heat could literally challenge the Cavs without Wade and Bosh.
Having those 2 is just icing on the already super stacked cake.

It's an embarrassment for them to lose to any of those east teams but let's not forget that them losing to the winner of the west is acceptable in the mind of a lebrantard.

How is the team's leading scorer only a supporting player? If Bosh returned he'd be at worst a 3rd option, although he would probably be playing reduced minutes. Make no mistake though, if the Heat are to make a deep playoff run, Wade will need to be playing well. Tonight he was back healthy and you saw how he performed.

The Cavs would still be favored in the series should they meet. You might call the Cavs the underdog, but the experts and odds makers would disagree.

Is Bosh expected back at any point in the playoffs?

Nobody knows. OP is talking out of his ass. I'm not expecting him to return.

So the odds makers and experts are all picking the Heat to win the east? That's news to me. If they meet the Cavs in the playoffs, are you saying the experts and odds makers will favor the Heat? I'm willing to bet my account that the Cavs would be favored (baring significant injuries).

Cavs have the two best players in the east and three of the top 10 players in the east.

Stop trying to...

1. Control damage if the Cavs lose
2. Boost Bran up if they win

The east is a joke and everyone knows it.

Slim Lowry and his raptors might drop nuts when it comes playoff time though.
