Specifically curious to hear what 12 stans think about this. Since most objective viewers already have Curry above 12's career, which was limited without Shaq/Pau/Bynum/Odom/Howard/Nash + multiple CoTY's.

That'll be B2B MVP and FMVP awards.
He'll be a top 10 player of all time and ahead of Bran.
Kobe is 2nd all time and not really relevant as of yet.

We assuming OKC is knocking out the Spurs, right?

Bron currently sits at 3rd.
Kobe, according to MULTIPLE leading publications of our time, is currently ranked 12th, altho his grasp on that spot is visibly tenuous.

Wouldnt beating LebRob twice in back to back finals in LebRons prime (going by age of past ATGs) put him ahead of LebRon?
That would make Step the 3rd greatest of all time :applause:
But what if Dwyane Wade wins the finals? He would have double the rings of LebRon and the same amount of FMVPS. That would make him better than LebRon and thus making Wade the 3rd greatest of all time
All in all. Someone is surpassing LebRon for 3rd all time this season if he doesnt win the finals

One more Finals trip and he surpasses KAJ, imo. Regardless of a win or loss.

Lebron has 2 Finals MVP's. Moreover, he has a 100% ratio of FMVPS when his team wins a championship. Kobe cannot match that, neither can Wade, neither can Curry. Its literally impossible at this point and it is a flaw in Curry's resume that will last forever. His career would have to finish with unprecedented success to have a realistic chance of passing LeGirth. But he could def pass 12 this year defintiively, even tho he arguably already has.

Top 25 (21-25) if he gets MVP (he will) and if he wins another chip. Getting an FMVP is nice but not as important as him getting the W, but it's hard to see him not getting considering how above his teammates he is this season (and everyone else).
Curry has plenty of time to go through the ranks, no reason to put him in the top 15 or 12 etc etc. If has longevity, he will get there.

This is just an awful logic. Would you want a player that helps his team win more or someone that has an award in one single 7 game series? If Lebron doesn't win any more rings and Curry gets 3 more winning 2FMVPs along the way, he's already passed him. He's already having a regular season form better than anything Bran has achieved in his career.

His FMVP problem is that voters tend to give it to any player who is even WILLING to guard Le3 even if they get lit up, as long as their team can overcome Bron collctively. So even if Lebron and his d-league cast take it to 7 and LBJ averages 35, theyll give it to the guy on the other team who covered Bron, simply out of respect for the challenge of such an assignment. So Curry will have little chance of getting it.

D league? Lebron is playing with two 3X All Stars, how the hell is that a d-league team? :facepalm
You're not making any sense. If the Warriors win this year and Curry plays well in the final, he will get the FMVP. I would be shocked if Iggy wins it again if we get the same final and the same result. No way Curry doesn't light it up, question is can he make it with Clippers & Spurs in the way. But at the end of the day that title is far less meaningful than the MVP of the league and even far less meaningful than the NBA title, something Lebron has won 2 out of 6 attempts when making a final.

The FMVP is overblown if the player who wins it was not his teams best player, like Iggy last year, Parker in '07, Cedric Maxwell etc. Titles as your teams best player will always be the most important aspect, so while Curry didn't win FMVP, he was unquestionably the best player on the Warriors, which is what truly matters. Majority of the time though, FMVP= teams best player, which is why people bring it up so often

I don't listen to espn for my rankings, to me Kobe and LeBron are both top 10, so Curry isn't passing neither of them and he isn't going to be top 12 already, he will be top 25 though.

I think he takes over #12, but isn't higher yet.
