I agree with you on most marvel films. DC outside of Nolan's Batman has fell short.

But X-Men films are either really good or extremely bad. They swing for the fences. Marvel tries to bat .500

I skip them in the theater, usually when I see it on TV a year later I enjoy watching them, but I am not hyped at all for anything coming out.

Star Wars is the only thing I'm hyped for in this day and age. The 3rd Batman was the last super hero movie I was excited to see in theaters.



That said, X-Men are my favorite superheroes besides Batman and Days of Futures Past and First Class were awesome, so this will hopefully be good.

Most X-men movies are better than a majority of the Marvel Universe movies. Not sure why people want Disney to own the franchise when Fox is willing to due rated R when it calls for it. X-Men is so much more gritty than what Disney is willing to do.

Wolverine 3 supposed to be based around the 'Old Man Logan' comics...it takes place in the future. Wolverine ages very slowly so it could be deep in the future IDK. I want to read up on those comics.
