Probably someone who's considered a bad defender overall.

I'm scared to answer this thread but can I say Whiteside?

Effecting shots that goes up? Whiteside

Protecting the paint...so prevent defense overall? Deandre

Man-on-man in the post? Hmm that's hard. For guarding 6'10 and below...I like Draymond. Taller? That's tough...Gobert/Bogut/Duncan deserves a mention

I dont watch enough volume to say, but I'd say Gobert or Bogut. The days of Dwight howard being good defensively are long gone.

So a guy with the nickname "SlowMo" is a top 4 defender?

DRTG incorporates the entire defense while you are on the floor and is almost worthless.

DRAPM is far more accurate, especially if you use more than 1 season of data.

If you think it is Whiteside you have NO IDEA WHAT BIGS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE DOING.

Gobert is probably my choice.

John Henson

What? Kyle Anderson is top 3? :oldlol: It's a Spurs team defense thing.

If I had to have someone that would change my bad defensive team to a good defensive team, gimme Gobert.

what?

can you please explain this?

He held opponent shooting percentages as %35 in first few months of season (before injury ) . And with injury problem Gobert held opponent FG% %44 and has 99 Drtg . He had 98 Drtg with inconsistency season at last year .

Peak Gobert would dominate dpoy award .
