Not far from where i live is St. Dennis, nearly only blacks. most people would not recommand anyone to go there unaccompanied.....but i dont think so. most of them are friendly and just wanna live their life normally, which is difficult if you are poor and no perspective for the future.

I don't think you understand what racism is. You said your wife thinks black people (over 1 billion in the world) are ugly, that's pretty racist buddy. Calling one black person ugly, or a group of them ugly is not racist, maybe that person or that group really is ugly. the "Front National" was pretty liberal at the beginning but transformed more and more into a "socialist" party because that way its easier to attract more people. Simple as that.
They are "right-wing" and "extreme" because they are against the Islam, against immigration and the abuse of the asylum law and wanna give preference to french people at first regarding the job market etc.
And of course depriving french citizens of foreign origin of their citizenship if they have committed criminal offences. They are very euro critical as well.

Many tourists come to france with their expectations of a "european" and "clean" Paris, the Paris of literature and theatre etc. yet they are more er less disappointed when they see the reality. especially in the metro they need to take to get to the sights of Paris. I was multiple times in Paris and the first time i was shocked as well. But then its ok. Its just a "first-time" shock.
Its the same in Germany: many people think Germany is white and full of blondes with blue eyes. The reality is that we have more than 5mio muslims already (without the 1.3 mio refugees) and more and more blacks who are living here being tolerated by the government, altough they have no legal right to be here
